PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE Take actively part to the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in Africa and worldwide for the survival of endangered species and the welfare of local communities.

FROM OCTOBER 2012 RESEARCHER-LECTURER (ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR SINCE 2018), FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF ABOMEY-CALAVI Secretary for the Doctoral Training in Natural Resources Management at the University of Abomey- Calavi - In charge of the Management of the Master on Wildlife, Protected Areas and Rangelands management - Lectures related to Protected Areas Management & Wildlife Conservation Research – Administrative tasks, Students mentoring (between 2012 and 2020, 12 BSc and 24 MSc students supervised, 3 ongoing PhD students).

JANUARY 2012 – MARCH 2013 ECOLOGIST, AFRICAN WILDLIFE FOUNDATION Development and implementation of the monitoring of the elephant and giraffe populations and human-wildlife conflicts in the transboundary WAP ecosystem in Benin, and – Capacity building of local guides and rangers – Contribution to fundraising - Reporting to donors.

MAIN RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Research in diverse fields related to natural resources management, wildlife monitoring and trade, endangered species conservation in Benin and other countries. Main research projects:  From 2019. Ecological Niche Modelling for endangered wildlife species in West Africa.  From 2017. Hunting and illegal trade of wildlife monitoring.  From 2015. Impact of fire on rangelands, wildlife and ecosystem services in Pendjari Biosphere Reserve.  From 2014. Survey of cheetah, and other wildlife by camera trapping in Benin protected areas.  2003-2005, 2007-2013 & from 2016. Human-wildlife conflicts around protected areas in Benin and Burkina Faso.
