Third graders have been hard at work this year! Currently, we are learning about our beautiful state of Oregon and each student has been assigned one of Oregon’s seven regions to research and make a tourist brochure and map. I am looking forward to seeing the project when it is finished! In science, we have been learning about forces and motion. Students put their knowledge of friction and resistance to the test when they made wind breakers and raced Lego cars. In religion class, we are learning about the Ten Commandments and how they relate to our lives now. We made geometry stained glass windows in an integration of math and religion. Can you find our patron saint and his companion in the photos?
