 Creating Legacies and Images Beyond the Event The most outstanding representative festival is ‘Representative Korean Festival’ designated by the Government, which is selected from a total of 1,200 candidates in the Republic of Korea and it is only 2. The one out of the two is no other than this Boryeong Mud Festival.

Festival export as the first festival product of South Korea As the first festival exported to foreign country for the first time, the international mud festival was held in Jinshi area in Dalian, China. The festival was followed for about 50 days in the Jinshi Beach
