The participants in this survey ranked Wipro among the top vendors for IoT-related change management in the Americas. This shows that Wipro offers its clients much more than pure IoT solution development and implementation. A solution worthy of mention in this context is, for example, Wipro’s Zero Touch Change approach. This program utilizes AI-driven personal assistants, social interactions, crowdsourcing, and gaming to personalize the change experience. An analytics component then provides information about the impact the change is having, employees’ understanding of it, and how teams are engaging with it. 22 CONSULTING SKILLS

The participants in this survey ranked Wipro as the top 3 vendor for IoT implementation skills in EMEA. This is remarkable because IoT represents a very special implementation challenge. IoT is an ecosystem play which requires deep collaboration with many different vendors to implement a totally integrated IoT solution for the client. This typically requires implementation capabilities around ERP (SAP), cloud (Microsoft or AWS), various IoT platforms ( MindSphere, Bosch IoT Suite, PTC ThingWorx), hardware (Dell, HPE), and networks (Cisco). IoT projects belong to the most complex integration projects that we see in the market today.28 IMPLEMENTATION

According to the participants in this survey, Wipro is one of the leading vendors when it comes to IoT solution development. They received high scores for this strength across several different peer group comparisons. Two capabilities underpin this strength – customer-specific solution development and investments in intellectual property. Wipro provides not only individual IoT application development services, but also product engineering services for prototyping new IoT devices. These individual services are often combined with predeveloped solution building blocks such as the HOLMES AI platform or the asset management platform Looking Glass. 32 IOT TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE

Solution Building is one of the overarching KPIs in this survey; the fact that Wipro is ranked among the key vendors in this space is another proof point for its strong capabilities in IoT. As IoT is increasingly becoming part of any digital initiative launched by Wipro’s client base, Wipro is increasingly morphing into the role of a key vendor for these solutions. Its core strength are customer-specific and software vendor-agnostic end-to-end IoT solutions. Wipro works closely with its clients to turn the Internet of Things into an ’Internet of Experiences’. This ambition leverages the connectivity of things to take the user experience to a new level. 36 WORKING CULTURE

The feedback of participants in this survey confirms that Wipro has a very positive working culture. From our perspective, three organizational advantages contribute to this. First, Wipro Digital benefits from the size and international expertise of its parent company, Wipro Limited. Second, Wipro Digital also benefits significantly from its own start-up mentality. Third, the company grants its subsidiaries (companies it has acquired) internal autonomy, allowing them to retain their existing culture, their brand, their offices, and internal systems, as can, for example, be observed with Designit. 38 FLEXIBILITY

The feedback of participants in this survey confirms that Wipro acts as a highly flexible partner for them. This can be put down to Wipro’s working culture. As mentioned in the previous section, Wipro Digital benefits significantly from its own start-up mentality. Based on this, its working style can be characterized by two main elements, agility and nimbleness. This style allows Wipro Digital to co-innovate along projects and thus quickly adjust to a fast-paced industry that is being disrupted by new technologies, big data, and the fast-changing needs of customers. 40 PROACTIVITY

The results of this survey underline that, from a user perspective, Wipro is the leading vendor in EMEA when it comes to proactivity. In fact, Wipro is perceived to be much more proactive in its client interactions across Europe than big companies such as IBM, Accenture, and Capgemini. From our perspective, the internal autonomy of subsidiaries and the use of technological levers such as a continuous delivery platform for rapid ideation help to stay proactive in client interactions and achieve quick results. In sum, organizational independence, personal accountability, and supporting technology drive Wipro’s proactivity in the IoT space. 42 COLLABORATION

With IoT being an ecosystem play, Wipro counts on collaboration, both internal (across business units) and external (technology partnerships and co-innovation with clients). To support external collaboration around IoT, Wipro Digital has been investing in a global network of co-innovation centers. As of 2019, Wipro Digital had 26 Digital Pods across the globe, with a total of 7,000+ collaborators. In order to become a leading vendor as regards price to value, one thing is key – delivering innovative solutions through efficient delivery components. Wipro can provide this dual advantage by combining its strong solution building capabilities with the efficient development tools and delivery capabilities of the hyperscalers; for example, via co-innovation centers such as the Wipro-AWS Launch Pad. The center serves as a multidisciplinary customer showcase hub to ideate, collaborate, develop, and deliver futuristic solutions by leveraging AWS Cloud services in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), analytics, IoT, blockchain, augmented and virtual reality. 46 RECOMMENDATION

It is important to understand that Wipro sees customer satisfaction as a strategic topic and does everything to optimize it. Why? Because Wipro aims to expand its presence within existing clients step by step. This would be impossible without a high level of customer satisfaction.
