  • Unicredit Pavilion Opens in Milan
PRESS RELEASE UniCredit Pavilion opens in Milan Distinguished by multifunctional design and community focus First public event to be held on 28 July One year, one month and ten days: That is how long it took to build the UniCredit Pavilion and open it to the city of Milan. UniCredit’s new multifunctional structure is located in Piazza Gae Aulenti, adjacent to the Group's headquarters. It is not just an auditorium, not just a venue for events and conferences, not just an exhibition space, but all of these things at once. Its different roles have been seamlessly blended together, thanks to the ingenious modular configuration of the building’s spaces. The ceremony was attended by UniCredit Chairman Giuseppe Vita, Chief Executive Officer Federico Ghizzoni, President of the Lombardy Regional Authority Roberto Maroni, and architect Michele De Lucchi, the structure’s designer. The ribbon cutting inaugurated a building that is unique in all of Italy. At the press conference, artist Dorothée Selz provided a taste of her new work “Nutriamo la Fantasia” (“We Nourish the Imagination”), a collection of edible sculptures, specially created for the inauguration of the pavilion in collaboration with several leading Italian chefs, coordinated by the renowned Carlo Cracco. At the ceremony Mr. Vita said, “Today we present this pavilion, which will serve as a vital place for discussion, participation and experimentation, to Milan, the city with which we have been linked for more than one hundred years. It is our hope that the pavilion will facilitate interaction between the languages of economics, culture and art. We believe that bringing together diverse voices, stories and experiences is at the heart of what distinguishes us as an international group.” Mr.

  • Transalpine Pass Routes in the Swiss Central Alps and the Strategic Use of Topographic Resources
Preistoria Alpina, 42 (2007): 109-118 ISSN 09-0157 © Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali, Trento 2007 Transalpine pass routes in the Swiss Central Alps and the strategic use of topographic resources Philippe DELLA CASA Department of Pre-/Protohistory, University of Zurich, Karl-Schmid-Str. 4, 8006 Zurich, Switzerland E-mail: [email protected] SUMMARY - Transalpine pass routes in the Swiss Central Alps and the strategic use of topographic resources - Using examples from the San Bernardino and the St. Gotthard passes in the Swiss Central Alps, this paper discusses how the existence of transalpine high altitude pass routes can be inferred, even though there is a lack physical evidence, from specific Bronze and Iron Age settlement patterns in access valleys. Particular attention is given to the effect of topography within the territorial and economic organizational area on transalpine tracks and traffic routes. A set of recurring patterns, such as strategic position, natural and/or artificial protection, presence of “foreign” materials, can help identifying (settlement) sites with particular functions as regards traffic and trade within the systems of territorial organization. Moreover, the paper also addresses socio-dynamic issues of the problem of transalpine pass routes.

  • An Analysis of the Level of Qualitative Efficiency for the Equity Research Reports in the Italian Financial Market
http://ijba.sciedupress.com International Journal of Business Administration Vol. 9, No. 2; 2018 An Analysis of the Level of Qualitative Efficiency for the Equity Research Reports in the Italian Financial Market Paola Fandella1 1 Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy Correspondence: Paola Fandella, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy. Received: January 15, 2018 Accepted: February 6, 2018 Online Published: February 8, 2018 doi:10.5430/ijba.v9n2p21 URL: https://doi.org/10.5430/ijba.v9n2p21 Abstract Corporate reports issued by various financial intermediaries play a major role in investment decisions. For this reason, it is particularly interesting to understand the accuracy of the forecasts, by carrying out an empirical analysis of the "equity research" system in Italy, identifying structural features, degree of reliability and incidence in the market. The choice of the analysis of the efficiency level information on the Italian market proposes to assess the interest of equity research of a niche market (339 listed companies in 2017) but with characteristics of potential growth such as having been acquired by LSEGroup in 2007, the 6th stock-exchange group at international level for the number of listed companies and the 4th for capitalization. The analysis was carried out on the reports issued on companies belonging to the Ftse Mib stock index during a period of 5 years. It aims to analyse the composition of the equity research system in Italy as well as the analysts' ability to properly evaluate the stocks' fair price, so as to test their degree of reliability and detect possible anomalies in recommendations to the investors.
