Lessons in Unit I, "What isEconomics," deal with scarcity, production, exchange and money,economic exchange systems, circular flow, values, and the definition ofeconomics. The definition and function of the price system, modelsin social science, the market under certain conditions, industrialmarket structure, and the auto, aluminum, and telephone industriescomprise the lessons of Unit II, 1,11. S. Price Svstem.1, Inductivemethods are utilized. Instructor's materials for most of the lessons include acontent outline, lists of behavioral objectives, sumNaries, andbackground materials. Answers to student worksheets are providedfor both units, and three multiple-choice tests are provided for Unit I.16mm, slide, and overhead projectors are required.
