A Orquestra Sinfônica da UCS, expressão concreta dessa valorização, ao longo de sua trajetória que, neste ano, completará 15 anos, tem sido um importante instrumento de propagação cultural dentro e fora da Universidade, através de seus espetáculos temáticos. Construída por muitas mãos, a programação deste ano quer proporcionar o que há de mais belo em movimentos artísticos, como o Barroco, o Classicismo, o Romantismo, o Impressionismo e o Modernismo, com composições, respectivamente, de Messias de Händel, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Berlioz, Dvořák, Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev, Mignone e Villa-Lobos. Ademais, a Temporada contemplará obras de compositores contemporâneos, como Kosak, Stephenson e Liebermann e, também, obras emblemáticas, com destaque para a Sinfonia Novo Mundo, de Dvořák, Scheherazade, de Rimsky-Korsakov e a Sexta Sinfonia, de Beethoven. By creating these festivals the ensemble has full artistic liberty: it improvised with DJ's, created multimedia shows with VJ's from Japan and Romania and developed literary soirées on love, Paul Wittgenstein and Bulgakow's Master CANTI DRAMMATICI RARO and Margarita with the actor Karl Markovics and the writer Lea Singer. Ensemble Raro is actively involved in performing contemporary chamber music repertoire. They gave a British and German premieres of Peteris Vasks's Piano Quartet. Their performances of Walter Braunfels' and George THE SEASONS Enescu's works in Pelerinages series in Munchen received a high critical acclaim. Ensemble Raro's partners in various chamber music formations included Daishin Kashimoto, Konstantin Lifschitz, Adrian Brendel, Claudio Bohorquez, Baiba Skride, Carolin Widmann, Alina Pogostkina, Marlis Petersen, Mark Padmore and other celebrated musicians. The Ensemble recently performed in the Boswil Summer Festival (Switzerland), St.Gallen Festival and Gmunden Festspiele (Austria), Riga Chamber Music Days (Latvia), Schloss Elmau and Schloss Filseck (Germany) and in Music at Plush Festival (UK).

Según la visión heredada del Romanticismo, imaginamos que esta experiencia alcanza al oyente en actitud receptiva y meditativa, a veces extasiada. Pero resulta mucho menos común convenir que una programación también es el resultado del diálogo, explícito o implícito, entre la institución organizadora, los intérpretes participantes y el público potencial. Este proceso, en el caso de la programación de la Fundación Juan March, está guiado por cuatro principios. En primer lugar, la selección de los compositores y de las obras de cada programa deriva del concepto o de la perspectiva preestablecida que explora cada proyecto. De modo que, como es habitual en esta institución, la temporada no se conforma por conciertos sino por ciclos de conciertos. En segundo lugar, el contenido explora la variedad y el contraste llegando a alcanzar los extremos: de la música medieval a la contemporánea, de los repertorios clásicos a los folclóricos, de las obras escritas a las improvisadas, de los instrumentos convencionales a las rarezas. En tercer lugar, se acompaña de un cierto espíritu didáctico a través de los programas de mano y de las presentaciones antes y durante algunos conciertos, un rasgo que se potencia esta temporada. Y, por último, el formato de concierto habitual se diluye en determinados casos para escrutar otros modos de percibir la música que combinen la interpretación en vivo con la literatura, la pintura o la luz.

Dabei musiziert er mit Dirigenten wie Alain Altinoglu, Christoph Eschenbach, Jakub Hrůša, Markus Poschner und Yuri Temirkanov. Als jüngster ›Artist in Residence‹ in der Geschichte des Wiener Musikvereins gestaltet er in dem traditionsreichen Haus einen eigenen Zyklus. Außerdem kehrt er als ›Junger Wilder‹ erneut ins Konzerthaus Dortmund zurück. Als Teil eines neuen Exklusiv-Ver- trags mit dem Label Berlin Classics erscheint im Februar 2020 sein zweites Album.
