Magical Items As a note, all magic items listed here require attunement. If an item is considered heavy enough to contribute to carrying capacity, it will be noted as such (according to a variant carrying capacity system, where in general 1 item = 1 slot, and you have slots equal to your strength score).

Silver Specs Common made with silver rims. Allows you to see clearly up to 30 feet away in dim light, preventing you from rolling with disadvantage in dim conditions.

Bucket Helm Common, Weighted A wooden bucket full of holes. +1 AC while not wearing armour, but disadvantage on all intelligence- based skill checks.

Tin Foil Common, Weighted An odd made of crumpled cooking material. Prevents your thoughts from being read by magic, but you become paranoid, and have disadvantage on Wisdom and Charisma skill checks.

Gypsy Bandana Common A silk cloth with a decorative pattern. Become proficient with one musical instrument of your choice.

Crimson Cowl Common A cloth cowl dyed deep red. Each time you are reduced to 0 hit points, you automatically succeed your first death saving throw.

Jade Common An eyepatch made from jade stone. As an action, you can end the Blind condition on yourself.

Butterfly Pendant Common This beautiful pendant births a butterfly on your command. The butterfly lives for 8 hours, then dies. The pendant can summon another butterfly on the next dawn.

Bone Necklace Common An unsettling necklace made from animal bones. +2 to Intimidation skill checks.

Wood Whorl Necklace Common An intricate carved necklace. Grants advantage on Animal Handling skill checks made to interact with non-hostile animals.

Stranded Necklace Common A necklace comprised of colourful rope bands. When a creature within 30 feet of you casts a cantrip that targets you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the spell attack roll. You can do this once per combat.

Bell Choker Common A choker decorated with a silver bell. Whenever you reduce a foe to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to grant yourself temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.

Satyr's Chime A necklace resembling a panflute. You have advantage on skill checks made to play a musical instrument.

Ring of Bubbles Common This blue iron ring has a wavy pattern. As an action, you can generate a cloud of bubbles. The bubbles fill a 5-foot cube and lightly obscure the vision of anyone looking directly through it. The bubbles vanish at the start of your next turn.

Ring of the Candle Common This black ring has a brass, coin-sized plate on it. As an action, you can generate dim light in your space using the ring. The ring stays lit until you end its use as a free action.

Ring of Growth Common This silver ring is adorned with gilded leaves. As an action, you can touch a dead or dying plant, size medium or smaller. The plant's vitality is restored over the course of 1 minute.

Ring of Stone Common While wearing this ring and not moving, attacking, casting a spell, etc., you are undetectable by creatures with 4 Intelligence or less.

Ring of Reading Common While wearing this ring, you can read words on paper or etched in stone simply by touching them, so long as it's a language you can understand.

Ogre Belt Common, Weighted This tough leather belt has crudely-made buckles and clasps. Your Strength score becomes 12 if it isn't already higher, and you become proficient in the use of clubs and greatclubs.

Tool Belt Common A handy belt filled with pockets and holsters. Your carrying capacity increases by 2. Pale Robe Common, Weighted This silken robe ties around the waist with a red rope. While wearing this robe, you can recover from the effects of magical sleep as an action.

Leaf Cloak Common, Weighted A cloak of verdant, supple leaves. When you roll initiative, you may roll 1d4 and add it to your initiative count.

Feathercrest Tunic Common, Weighted A cloth tunic lined with feathers around the wrists and neck. Reduces fall damage received by 10.

Checkerboard Robe Common, Weighted A robe made of alternating square colours or patterns. When hit by a weapon attack, you may cast a cantrip as a reaction. The cantrip must have a range of Self.

Copper Clogs Common, Weighted These odd metal shoes reduce your move speed by 5 feet. As an action or reaction, you can “plant” yourself in place, preventing you from being unwillingly moved by any outside force.

Snow Shoes Common, Weighted A pair of bulky wicker boots that allow you to walk on the surface of deep snow.

Satin Slippers Common These light shoes prevent your move speed from being reduced by magic.

Steel Boots Common, Weighted Hefty, hardy footwear. While wearing these, you take half damage from traps that hit your feet, such as spike traps, bear traps, acid pits, etc.

Pipe of Smoke Shapes Common, Weighted A lengthy wood pipe. As an action, you can puff the pipe to create a cloud of smoke. The smoke can take the shape of any medium-sized object or creature you wish. It dissipates at the start of your next turn.

Gilt Monocle Uncommon This fancy monocle has a golden chain to latch it to your pocket. When used as a bonus action on your turn, prevents the next foe from gaining advantage on you until the start of your next turn.

Goggles of Sight Uncommon These allow you to see in nonmagical darkness up to 60 feet away, clear as day. Everything beyond that is hidden from your view.

Blindfold of Second Sight Uncommon A black . Your are Blinded while wearing it, but you gain Blindsense to 20 feet and Tremorsense to 20 feet.

Mask of Spirits Uncommon, Weighted An ivory mask that swirls with dark power. Allows you to “see” the alignments of creatures. However, you have disadvantage versus abilities that charm or possess you.

Mask of Silence Uncommon A violet silk face wrap. You do not require Verbal components to cast spells, but you are always silenced and cannot speak.

Feathered Headdress Uncommon, Weighted A large hat decorated with many large feathers. If you attack a creature on your turn, you can make an extra attack against that creature as a bonus action.

Bone Head Uncommon, Weighted The top portion of a skull, with a half-melted flickering candle placed atop it. While wearing this oddity, you are immune to curses of 5th level or lower.

Conch Pendant Uncommon Wearing this pendant allows the wearer to breathe in water, and increases their swimming speed to be equal to their move speed if it is not already equal or greater.

Thundercloud Jewel Uncommon While wearing this pendant, you always know what the weather will be for the next 24 hours.

Everfrost Quartz Uncommon This necklace of banded crystals has a frosty clarity. While wearing this, you can see through fog and non-poisonous mist as though it were not there.

Teardrop Pendant Uncommon This azure gem affixed to a silver chain gleams with watery hues. You cannot be set ablaze while wearing this, and you douse nonmagical flames if you enter or pass through their space.

Dragonsilk Scarf Uncommon A loose scarf made from the fine hairs of an ancient dragon. While wearing this, any time you are hit by a breath attack that deals damage, roll 1d8 and reduce the damage received.

Ring of Still Winds Uncommon This brass ring, fitted with opals, allows the wielder to withstand strong winds. They cannot be moved unwillingly by powerful winds while conscious.

Ring of Limber Uncommon A silver ring with a gold, jagged inlay. While attuned to this ring, the wearer has advantage on sav ing throws against paralysis.

Ring of the Shield Uncommon A multi-coloured ring of iridescent hues. As an action, you can summon forth a shield from the ring. The shield is clearly magical in form, but acts as an ordinary shield. If you are not proficient in shields, you are proficient in the use of a shield you summon from this ring.

Ring of the Steady Uncommon A slate-gray ring. While attuned to it, you cannot be knocked prone by any creature one size larger than you.

Ring of Trades Uncommon A pearlescent ring. While attuned to the ring, you gain proficiency with one tool kit of your choice.

Titan Belt Uncommon, Weighted A hefty belt brimming with ancient power. Your strength score becomes 16 if it is not already higher. You become proficient with greatswords and greataxes.

Corsair's Sash Uncommon Colourful cloth wrap for the waist. Prevents you from sinking in water unwillingly.

Braided Belt Uncommon, Weighted A belt made from interwoven leather straps. You have advantage against attacks and abilities that would make you drop items you are wearing or carrying.

Count Cape Uncommon, Weighted A black silk cape with red lining, classically linked with vampires. While wearing this cape, your jump height is equal to your Strength score in feet, rounded up to the nearest 5 feet.

Dwarven Tunic Uncommon, Weighted A tunic lined with metal plating. Grants you a number of hit points equal to your current level.

Pious Robe Uncommon, Weighted, lawful alignment required A flowing robe of white and gold strands. Allows you to ignore the negative effects of desecrated land.

Spider Silk Tunic Uncommon, Weighted A robe of strong but flexible spider silk. You cannot become entangled, bound, or restrained by webs, and your move speed cannot be reduced by webs.

Fur Cape Uncommon, Weighted A cloak of fine fur. You resist cold damage, but become vulnerable to fire damage.

Fool's Tights Uncommon, Weighted A pair of gaudy form-fitting tights, paired with a bangled skirt. Allows you to cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter at 1st level once per long rest. The DC for this spell's saving throw is 15.

Stilted Shoes Uncommon, Weighted These strange shoes have raised soles. As an action, you can activate the shoes to grow into stilts up to 10 feet long. At maximum height, you can add 10 feet to your normal move speed (but not speed gained from dashing), and you can choose to step over any 5 foot space that is empty or occupied by a creature medium or smaller.

Spartan Sandals Uncommon, Weighted A pair of rugged beach footwear. You are able to endure one extra level of exhaustion, which happens before any of the numbered exhaustion levels. This level of exhaustion has no associated penalties.

Cavalier Spurs Uncommon, Weighted Boots fitted with gleaming silver spurs. Grants you advantage on Animal Handling skill checks, and prevents you from being unwillingly dismounted by nonmagical means.

Longboots of the Vagrant Uncommon, Weighted Well-worn leather travelling boots. Allows you to Disengage as a bonus action.

Dwarven Chalice Uncommon, Weighted A cup adorned with brass and jewels. It produces alcohol as an action once per short rest. Each swig, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your level, rounded up.

Plague Mask Rare, Weighted An unusual mask shaped like a bird's beak. Grants advantage on medicine skill checks, and resistance to necrotic damage from nonmagical sources, such as vampire bites.

Painted Mask Rare, Weighted A colourful full-face mask. Allows you to throw any melee weapon (range 20/60), and grants advantage to you when making grapple attempts against creatures one size larger than you or smaller.

Cavalier Plumed Hat Rare, Weighted An eye-catching, fashionable cap. Creatures that you hit with melee attacks cannot use their reaction to make opportunity attacks against you until the end of your current turn.

Noble Lavalliere Rare A golden necklace adorned with ornate metal pieces. When you successfully intimidate a creature, you can force them to roll a Charisma saving throw, DC 15. On a failed save, they are either frightened of, or charmed by, you.

Meteorite Choker Rare A strange, multi-hued choker carved from a meteorite. While wearing it, you ignore the effects of spells that would silence you.

Gorgon Scale Necklace Rare Made from shimmering gray gorgon scales. While wearing this necklace, you can breathe normally while inside areas of toxic gases.

Ring of Eloquence Rare A gold ring with green emeralds. +3 to Persuasion skill checks.

Ring of Spells Rare A plain gold ring with a black jewel. As a reaction to a spell being cast, you can identify all information on the spell.

Ring of the Tongue Rare This gold two-banded ring has Common writing on one band, and a different language on the other. The wearer can understand, read, and write the non-Common language.

Ring of Thorns Rare This polished wood ring is emblazoned with a carved rose. The wearer's unarmed strikes deal 1d6+STR mod in damage.

Ring of the Iron Grip Rare This polished obsidian ring gives you advantage on skill checks and saving throws made to avoid falling.

Ring of Unstoppable Speed Rare This shiny red ring compels you to greater speeds. Your move speed is doubled, but on any turn where you move, you must use at least half your move speed at a time in a straight line.

Ring of Finesse Rare This simple brass ring appears completely ordinary. Allows you to wield any one-handed weapon as though it has the Finesse property.

Demon Belt Rare, Weighted A belt of black leather, decorated with curved thorns. Whenever you grapple a creature, they take 1d4 untyped damage, and you recover hit points equal to half the roll. This works once per creature.

Ascetic Sash Rare, Weighted A blessed cloth wrap for the waist. You do not accrue exhaustion from not eating (but you will still die if you do not eat once in a while).

Noble Thief's Coat Rare, Weighted This sleeveless coat of muted hues has many pockets. Grants +5 to Sleight of Hand skill checks.

Sparkling Cape Rare, Weighted This cape is adorned with many glittering discs. When targetted by an attack that deals radiant damage, you can use your reaction to make a contested Charisma skill check with the attacker. If you succeed, the attacker targets themselves with the attack or spell instead.

Cavalier Cape Rare, Weighted This stylish cape drapes over one shoulder. Grants +1 AC when you and one hostile creature are adjacent to each other, with no allies or other foes within 5 feet of either of you.

Cosmic Cloak Rare, Weighted This starry cloak has a full-face hood. You have advantage on saving throws to avoid being displaced, banished, or magically teleported against your will.

Robe of Night Rare, Weighted This pitch-black robe seems to absorb light. Your move speed increases by 10 feet at night, or when in areas of darkness. Magi Slippers Rare These ornate slip-on shoes are infused with djinn magic. As an action, you can activate the shoes, which let you hover with a flying speed equal to your move speed for 1 minute. You fall once the effect ends. The shoes cannot be used again until you complete a short rest.

Orcish Boots Rare, Weighted Fur-trimmed travel boots. As an action, you can stomp the ground. Creatures within 5 feet of you must make a Strength saving throw, DC 16. On a fail, they are knocked prone.

Golemic Greaves Rare, Weighted A pair of stone or iron greaves etched with stoic faces. Reduces all fall damage to 1 per 10 feet so long as you are not incapacitated, stunned, paralyzed, or otherwise unconscious.

Crawling Cleats Rare, Weighted Shoes with hooked spikes along their soles. Allows you to climb and walk on ceilings without making an ability check.

Fairy Stockings Rare Sheer socks made by fey tailors. Allows you to Dodge as a bonus action on any turn where you do not attack or cast a spell.

Barbaric Leg Sandals Rare, Weighted These leg sandals are weighted with special iron discs. When grappling a creature, your move speed is not reduced.

Shoes of the Shoal Rare, Weighted A pair of odd shoes with individual toes. Allows you to walk on the surface of water, and reduces fall damage to 0 if you land in water.

Bag of Warping Rare, Weighted A decorated bag that connects to a storage chest. Anything put in the bag will be teleported to the storage chest. Items put in the bag cannot be retrieved from the bag.

Iron Mask Very Rare, Weighted A mask that conceals the entire face, with small eye holes. Imposes disadvantage on all Perception and other skill checks that rely on sight or sound. +2 to AC.

Wizard's Hat Very Rare, Weighted A pointed hat adorned with arcane patterns. +2 bonus to spell attacks. Reaper's Mask Very Rare, Weighted, requires evil alignment A piece of skull worked to fit as a mask. While attuned to this mask, as a bonus action you can summon a spectral scythe to use as a weapon. You are always proficient with this weapon. A scythe requires 2 hands to wield, and deals 2d8 magical slashing damage, and has the finesse property. If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you acquire their soul, granting you temporary hit points equal to their challenge rating (minimum of 1).

Beast Eye Very Rare An eyepatch emblazoned with a fierce beast's eye. As an action, the wearer can transform into a tiger on their turn for 1 minute, or until their tiger form is reduced to 0 hit points. Once used, cannot be used again until the next dawn.

Blood-drop Pendant Very Rare A deep red jewel bound by small obsidian chains. While wearing this pendant, you heal one hit point for every successful unarmed strike against a hostile creature who is at 1 hit point or more.

Snake's Eye Very Rare A serpentine eye glassed and mounted in gold. While wearing this, you are immune to the effects of all poisons, and your blood can act as an anti-venom if ingested.

Dead Man's Noose Very Rare, Weighted An oddity; a noose cut from a dead man's neck. Enchanted with his sorrows, it keeps death at bay. Until it is removed as an action (by you or another creature) you cannot fully die. You still roll death saving throws, however. If you roll 3 failed saves while wearing this, you resurrect at full hit points, and your creature type changes to undead. This can only be reversed by use of a Wish spell, or by killing you can using Raise Dead or stronger resurrection magic.

Deva's Rosary Very Rare, Weighted, requires good alignment This oversized rosary wears heavily on the neck. You become immune to radiant damage, and creatures within 10 feet of you are vulnerable to radiant damage.

Queen's Favour Very Rare This floral pin denotes you as favoured by the fairy queen. You become immune to charm effects. Should you break attunement to this item, the flower wilts and dies, and this item loses it efficacy.

Rings of Bonds Very Rare These paired rings respond to each other. While attuned to one ring, the wearer always knows where the other ring is, and who is wearing it.

Ring of Clarity Very Rare A ring made of clear glass with a cat's eye gem. You can Search as a bonus action.

Ring of the Hale Very Rare A ring of translucent red gemstone. Doubles the effectiveness of healing potions you imbibe.

Ring of Blessing Very Rare A ring of white platinum, emblazoned with golden wings. Add 1d4 to all d20 rolls made while attuned to this ring.

Celestial Belt Very Rare, Weighted A belt of stardust that flows like a nebula about your waist. As an action, can create an aura about you that negates all Force damage done to you. Once used, requires a short rest to recharge.

Chain of Magnesis Very Rare, Weighted A chain belt that wraps around the waist and chest. As an action, you can activate the chain and target one creature you see within 60 feet of you. The creature makes a Charisma saving throw, DC 18. On a failed save, you choose whether the creature cannot move within 60 feet of you, or cannot move further than 60 feet from you. The effect lasts for 1 hour.

Demon Cloak Very Rare, Weighted, chaotic alignment required A cape that appears to be tattered and ruined. As an action, the cape can transform into demonic wings, granting you flight for up to 1 hour. Once used, the wings cannot be reactivated until the next midnight.

Robe of the Seer Very Rare, Weighted A violet robe adorned with glowing red eyes. As an action, you can place your hand on a wall, and see through the wall as though it were not there. Once per short rest.

War God's Tunic Very Rare, Weighted This barbaric-looking tunic is adorned with powerful animal motifs. While wearing this, you may switch, draw, or stow weapons as part of any attack, and you deal 1 extra damage with each attack you make.

Bloody Harness Very Rare, Weighted This harness of spikes and chains digs into your flesh. You deal an extra 1d8 piercing damage with each melee attack or grapple you make, but you take 2 untyped damage each time you attack.

Sea Dragon Robe Very Rare, Weighted A robe of fine azure scales. When hit by an attack or spell that deals lightning damage, you instead are healed for half the damage dealt. Once per short rest. Shoes of Dancing Flame Very Rare, Weighted A pair of bright red and orange shoes. Spaces you move through can light aflame, dealing 1d4 fire damage to anyone to ends their turn in the space, or passes through the space. The flames persist until you move again.

Dragonskin Boots Very Rare, Weighted Boots made from the scales and skin of dragons. Your move speed increases 5 feet, and your swim speed and climbing speed equal your move speed. Additionally, you have advantage on Dexterity saves made to avoid breath attacks.

Assassin Shoes Very Rare These black slippers are light as feathers. You make no noise when you move, and when you are hidden from a target, you score a critical hit on a d20 roll of 19 or 20.

Glass Slippers Very Rare, Weighted These opulent shoes glisten with many colours. As an action, you can click the heels together to change your outfit to that of noble finery, and you are also cleaned and your hair is combed/styled to your choosing. Your AC and other statistics do not change. While in finery, your move speed is reduced by 5 feet, but you have advantage on all Persuasion skill checks, and any Intelligence skill checks you have proficiency with already. You can use an action to revert to your ordinary look.

Ruby Slippers Very Rare, Weighted These red shoes adorned with many gemstones appear as though out of a modern fairytale. As an action, you can click the heels together, and be teleported to your home. Once used, the slippers take 24 hours to recharge.

Blue Suede Shoes Very Rare, Weighted Fashionable dancing shoes that grant +5 to Performance skill checks. When you make a Performance skill check, you can choose one creature who can see and hear you within 30 feet and cast Fast Friends (Acquisitions Incorporated, pg. 75) on them. The DC for this cast is your Performance skill check total. On a failed save, the spell takes effect.

Bottled Lightning Very Rare, Weighted A glass bottle filled with sparking lightning. As an action, you can open the bottle. Creatures in a straight line up to 60 feet from you must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 8d8 lightning damage on a failed save. Once used, the bottle will recharge after a long rest.
