TELFORD & WREKIN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, OAKENGATES, TELFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING & ON STREET DISABLED PLACES) ORDER 2020 Notice is hereby given that Borough of Telford and Wrekin in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2), 4(2), Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with the Act hereby made the following Order: Telford & Wrekin Council (Various Roads, Oakengates, Telford) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading & on Street Disabled Places) Order 2020 This order will come into effect on Monday 20th April 2020 1. When this Order comes into effect; a. The Orders specified in the Schedule of Revocation of this Order shall have the effect of revoking or removing the references to the specified Order to the extent specified. b. Waiting will be prohibited at all times on the length of roads specified in Schedule One to this Order to the extent specified. c. Waiting will be restricted to the use of vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Person’s Badge at all times on the length of roads specified in Schedule Two of this Order to the extent specified d. Loading will be prohibited at all times on the length of roads specified in the Schedule Three to this Order to the extent specified. 2. A copy of the made Order may be examined online at www.telford.gov.uk/tro 3. Any persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act have not been complied with, that person may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
