Itinerary - The Dodecanese Flotilla Departing Every Saturday From 3may To 11october 7 Or 14 Nights

The Route Sat- – Arrivals and Departures: Join at Kos marina for embarkation. Kos is the home of the father of modern and the ancient ruins of the Asklepieion medical complex are a must. In Kos town you can hire a bike as the best way to explore. Sun- (17 nm) – A scenic bay virtually surrounded by extensive ancient ruins of the same name, in a dramatic location. In the evening, we dine in the solitary taverna ashore. Mon-Datca (20 nm) – Today we formally check in to to at Datca a bustling harbour town with a traditional feel. Dine ashore in one of the many traditional restaurants, Our favourite is ‘Maradonna’s’ owned and run by a gentleman who just has to be the famous Argentinian’s Turkish twin brother. Tue-Symi (15 nm) – The stunning harbour of Symi is a great place to sail into. The town steeply climbs the hillsides around the harbour like an amphitheatre. It retains its’ traditional neo-classical character and charm having been much renovated over recent years. Be sure to climb the steps to the church for a superb panoramic view. Wed-Panormitis, Symi (14 nm) – A well sheltered scenic bay surrounded by pine clad hills and dominated by the notable of the archangel , protector of Seafarers and well worth a visit. Dine ashore in the water side taverna Thu- (32 nm) – Dominated by a still active volcano which you simply must visit, this small friendly island has a ruined Mycenaean fortress and plenty of scenic walks. The family run restaurant in our harbour of Paslon is a germ Fri-Kos (25 nm) – Hire a bike to explore this attractive resort town and nearby beaches. Farewell evening ashore in lively Kos town. Two week clients commence free sailing. Sat- Kos – Disembarkation after breakfast by 9 am, two week guests continue free sailing

The Route Sat-Kos – Arrivals and Departures. Kos is a delightful town to start and finish your holiday with a relaxed feel and plenty of history and culture. Sun--Kalymnos (17 nm) – Known as the island of the sponge divers. The bustling harbour town boasts several museums, and a lively neoclassical sea front. 2 week guests rendez-vous here. Mon-Lipsi (30 nm) – The largest of a small group of islands to the south of , explore the local market for thyme honey and other local specialities. Tue-Patmos or Arki / Port Augusta (12nm) – Depending on the weather, we will head to Patmos, for a visit to the monastery of St John the divine, or alternatively the smaller island of Arki and the quiet village of Port Augusta, an idyllic sleepy little spot with just two tavernas ashore. Wed- (21 nm) – We moor in the marina in Lakki, on the south west side of the island. Evidence of Italian occupation is obvious in the architecture of the town, which has a good range of facilities ashore. Thu-Free sailing (35 nm) – Heading back towards Kos, there are options for a quiet night in Emborios or Vathi on Kalymnos or a chance to explore the smaller island of to the east of Kalymnos. Fri-Kos – Hire a bike to explore this attractive resort town and nearby beaches. Farewell evening ashore in lively Kos town, two week guests commence free sailing.
