The Grandvalira in presents the first online Alpine skiing game for your mobile device or tablet, inspired by the Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals being held from 11 to 17 March 2019 at Grandvalira. It can be downloaded for free on Google Play or in the Apple Store.

Experience what it feels like to be a World Cup skier and race against the clock with other players from around the world. The best times will win prizes at the upcoming championships organised by Grandvalira Soldeu-, all with the SKI RACE SOLDEU online game and you as the star.

Experience with your own hands what it feels like to descend the exact World Cup Àliga Downhill Slope, located in the El Tarter section. Find the quickest route, trying not to skip any gates, and cross the finish line in the fastest time possible, then try again as many times as you like: you are your own biggest rival.

How to play

1 – DOWNLOAD THE ONLINE GAME “SKI RACE SOLDEU”

- Android version: direct link to the game in Google Play - iOS version: direct link to the game in the Apple Store

2 – REGISTER

- We need to be able to contact you so that you can play, participate in championships and win prizes. So we ask that you please complete a brief registration process. - Once you have registered, your mobile device will not ask you to do so again. - If you lose your account information, the game will let you recover it.

3 – SETTINGS

- On the bottom right of your screen you’ll see an icon where you can configure the game options, turn sound on or off, pause the game, and select your language. - The SKI RACE SOLDEU online game automatically detects the language of your mobile or tablet in the following 5 languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, French and Portuguese. If your device is in any other language the game will appear in English by default.

4 – PLAY - The skier is right on the Àliga slope in Soldeu-El Tarter, ready to start the Downhill (DH) race. - You play with your hands, holding the screen horizontally, and with no need to press any buttons except the button to begin the race. So you can also play wearing gloves. - The skier must complete the entire run in as little time as possible, trying not to skip any gates. - Every time the skier skips a gate, the clock penalises you by adding 3 seconds to your time. - TURN: When you turn the device to the left or right, the skier will turn in the same direction. - SPEED UP: When you want to go even faster down the slope, you’ll have to tip your mobile device downward as if you were stepping on an accelerator. - SLOW DOWN: When you want the skier to slow down, you’ll have to tip your device upward in the opposite direction. - When the skier crosses the finish line, the clock stops and the game ends. Later, the game will ask you if you want to save your time or play again. - If you save your time, you’ll see where you stand in the world ranking. 5 – DISPLAY

- On the top left of the screen, you’ll see your best time ever. You are your own biggest rival. - On the upper middle of the screen, you’ll see your current time. - On the upper right of the screen, you’ll see your path and which area of the slope you’re on, as well as the next turn and how far you have to go to the finish line. - On the middle left of the screen, you’ll see your speed level: BOOST high or low. - In the middle of the screen, you’ll see the skier. - On the middle right of the screen, you’ll see your speed in km/h. - On the lower left of the screen, you’ll see your nickname. - On the lower right of the screen, you’ll see the settings icon. It lets you pause the game, start again, select the language and turn the audio on and off.

Play as many times as you want to try to lower your best time, participate in future contests, and win the prizes we have in store for you at Soldeu-El Tarter. Invite all your

friends to enter the competition and show them that you can beat them in the Alpine Ski World Cup Finals at Soldeu-El Tarter.
