Demand for electricity is rising steadily. Greater complexity in market conditions are paving the way for consolidation in the industry and for Fjordkraft to exploit its process efficiency, brand and distribution capacity. Annual report 2018 5 fjordkraft.no Part 1 – 1.1 Letter from the CEO Tel: +47 23 00 61 00 Letter from the CEO Fjordkraft became listed on 21 March 2018 and has seen its first fiscal year as a listed company on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Fjordkraft had the honour of becoming the first Norwegian consumer company in the electricity industry to be publicly traded. Finding directly comparable companies internationally has proven to be difficult. The process up to listing and the time after- wards has been an interesting and evolving period for the board, executives and employees of the company. We went from having three owners to having almost 2,200 owners in Norway and inter- nationally. The transition to quarterly presentation of the results to the market has been great, while at the same time challenging and interesting. In February 2019 we had the pleasure of hosting our first ever capital markets day. In Oslo we presented a “deep delve” into the company for analysts and investors. The company became listed in a year which turned out to be characterised by major inter- national events and movements related to mac- ro-economic conditions. Whether we like it or not, we have now become a part of an international financial market. At the same time, we are for- tunate that Fjordkraft’s core operations to a very great extent are protected from the consequences of macro-economic movements. In 2013, the Norwegian Parliament adopted a proposal mandating the Norwegian Directorate of Health to implement a five-year national overdose strategy. The Norwegian Directorate of Health regards the need for measures in this area as imperative. The aim is to gradually reduce the number of deaths. The Norwegian Parliament also decided to step up efforts to prevent overdose altogether by establishing a Vision Zero. Since the parliamentary resolution, the Directorate has implemented measures in association with a widely representative working party. The Directorate will be strengthening the overdose prevention focus in existing measures. In addition, it will be implementing new measures. The Directorate intends for the strategy to result in permanent changes to Norwegian public services.

    REGNUM EDINBURGH CENTENARY SERIES A Learning Missional Church Reflections from Young Missiologists REGNUM EDINBURGH CENTENARY SERIES The Centenary of the World Missionary Conference of 1910, held in Edinburgh, was a suggestive moment for many people seeking direction for Christian mission in the twenty-first century. Several different constituencies within world Christianity held significant events around 2010. From 2005, an international group worked collaboratively to develop an intercontinental and multi-denominational project, known as Edinburgh 2010, and based at New College, University of Edinburgh. This initiative brought together representatives of twenty different global Christian bodies, representing all major Christian denominations and confessions, and many different strands of mission and church life, to mark the Centenary. Essential to the work of the Edinburgh 1910 Conference, and of abiding value, were the findings of the eight think-tanks or ‘commissions’. These inspired the idea of a new round of collaborative reflection on Christian mission – but now focused on nine themes identified as being key to mission in the twenty-first century. The study process was polycentric, open-ended, and as inclusive as possible of the different genders, regions of the world, and theological and confessional perspectives in today’s church.     Security State of 802.11 Wireless Networks A Study of WLANs in Five Norwegian Cities Gaute Svendsen Master of Information Science Spring 2012 Faculty of Social Sciences Department of Information Science and Media Studies ABSTRACT This thesis was written to promote awareness of wireless network security to the ICT industry and the general public. It gives an overview of the current security state in Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand, Tromsø and Flekkefjord. The data was gathered through war-walking and war- driving in the mentioned cities, and the results were deduced from an analysis of 35 194 wireless networks. The findings showed that 36 % was either unencrypted or encrypted with the deprecated WEP protocol. Through the analysis of these and other findings, this thesis discusses the role of parties influencing wireless network security. It also provides a description of potential consequences, followed by counter-measures and recommendations. Starting later this year, Altibox viewers will be able to include NENT Group’s Viaplay streaming service as part of their subscriptions for the first time, while continuing to access NENT Group’s Viasat pay-TV offering and Norwegian TV channels. The agreement ensures that Altibox’s TV viewers can follow NENT Group’s coverage of the highly popular FIS winter sports events from autumn 2021. Altibox will continue to offer NENT Group’s premium Viasat film and sports pay-TV channels, along with the Viasat FilmFavoritter on-demand film library. In addition, Altibox will remain a distributor of NENT Group’s Norwegian TV channels TV3, Viasat4 and TV6.
