ADORATION, PRAISE, AND CONFESSION After some silence, the people praise God with words and songs. Feel free to speak out loud to the Lord or to speak to him in your heart. You can thank him for blessings, tell him about your life, ask him for help, or simply give him praise. Some of the songs we might sing are included on pages 5 to 30 of this booklet. Confessions will be available during this time.

Toward the end of the time of adoration, we will pray a Divine Mercy Chaplet or the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the holiness, happiness, and flourishing of our parish and school.
DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET
Our Father Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. The priest makes the Sign of the Cross over the people with the monstrance in silence while the people make the Sign of the Cross upon themselves.
THE DIVINE PRAISES The priest replaces the monstrance on the altar and then leads the people in the Divine Praises. Repeat each blessing after the priest.
Blessed be God. Blessed be his Holy Name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Blessed be his most Sacred Heart. Blessed be his most Precious Blood. Blessed be Jesus in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar. Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete. Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy. Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception. Then, all pray the following prayer together.
May the Heart of Jesus in the most Blessed Sacrament be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection at every moment in all the tabernacles of the world, now and until the end of time. Amen.
The priest puts the Blessed Sacrament back in the tabernacle. When the doors of the tabernacle have been closed, the people rise and sing a hymn of praise.
