Lyrics CHORUS 1 Lyrics CHORUS 1 Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Echo in my soul, soul PRE-CHORUS When my mind says I’m not good enough God, You’re enough for me I’ve de - cided I’m not giving up You won’t give up on me, You won’t give up on me CHORUS 2 Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out, breaking out CHORUS 1 Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Echo in my soul, soul PSALMS 95 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with mu- sic and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel be- fore the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pas- ture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Merib- ah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness, where your ancestors test- ed me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did. For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’” NIV Lyrics VERSE 1 When night has fallen, when fear is common Still you’re calling me When faith is lost and, my hope exhausted You will be my strength PRE-CHORUS When my mind says I’m not good enough God, You’re enough for me I’ve de - cided I’m not giving up You won’t give up on me, You won’t give up on me CHORUS 1 Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo Echo in my soul, soul VERSE 2 In every season, You keep repeating Promises to me Now there’s no stopping, what you have started Till it is com - plete PRE-CHORUS When my mind says I’m not good enough God, You’re enough for me I’ve de - cided I’m not giving up You won’t give up on me, You won’t give up on me CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE 27 Echo Elevation Worship released their single “Echo,” which features guest artist Tauren Wells and will appear on their album, Hallelujah Here Below. Recorded live at Elevation Church’s Ballantyne lo- cation in March 2018, Hallelujah Here Below is Eleva- tion Worship’s newest album. “Echo” is the third of four singles to release before the full album release in September. “I love the fun vibe of ‘Echo,’” says Chris Brown of Elevation Worship. “And I feel like magic happened when Tauren put his vocal on it. It’s one of my fa- vorites on this album.” Tauren Wells says that, “Echo is one of those songs that brings so much energy and joy into a room. I can’t wait to see how it connects with churches and people all over the world.” There are times in our lives when we feel distant from the Lord. We may be hurting and broken, and in need of God’s presence and power. We need him to shine his light into our dark moments. We sing In every season You keep repeating promis- es to me. Now there’s no stopping what You have started until it is complete. It’s a promise that “God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (Philippians 1:6). God is our refuge, our strength, and our salvation. He is sim- ply enough and He has the last word on our lives. When my mind says I’m not good enough, God, You’re enough for me. That is the motivation for causing us to make God’s glory resound under this roof, in our homes, and in our community. From the top of our heads to the tips of our toes, we echo his praises out from our soul. His love is holding on and it won’t let go! 26 Night of Worship September 6, 2019 Who You Say I Am No Longer Slaves Here as in Heaven Your Grace Still Amazes Me Surrounded The Heart of Worship Moving Forward Ain’t No Grave Waiting Here for You From the Inside Out King of Glory Echo 3 Who You Say I Am Ben Feilding shares: “The theme, “Who You Say I Am”, is from John 8, which is, you will know, the truth and the truth will set you free. Jesus says, ‘who the son sets free, is free indeed.’ It’s a real declara- tion of identity. In John 8, the Scripture this song is based on, talks about how a slave has no place in the family. But, once we’ve been brought into the family, we have this identity as part of God’s family and an identity of freedom. Our identity resides in knowing ourselves in Christ and living within the stability of knowing we are who God says we are.” “Who the Son sets free is free indeed” is a Scrip- ture about freedom and identity. You are a child of God. That can never be threatened or taken from you. As a believer, the truth of this song changes the way I live out my faith. We were passionate to give the church a song that says that God is for them and He thinks the world of them. While everything around you and about you changes, this is the one thing about yourself that will stay constant. You are chosen by a God who loves you deeply. He is a God who is for you and is never against you. He is a God who has plans for you to prosper. He is a God who wants a relationship with you. He is a God who will never let you down. The theme of the song is, “I am chosen, not forsak- en, I am who You say I am.” God has chosen us and the fact that we are in a position where we know God and be reconciled to Him. The challenge of the song is the idea that we have been set right because of the comprehensive work of Jesus. You can stand before Him as chosen, and not forsaken. You haven’t been left on your own. He is running towards us. 4 Lyrics VERSE Yes the world will bow down and say You are God Ev’ry man will bow down and say You are King PRECHORUS 1 So let’s start right now, why would we wait CHORUS King of glo - ry, fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You King of glory fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You VERSE Yes the world will bow down and say You are God Ev’ry man will bow down and say You are King PRECHORUS 2 So let’s start right now, why would we wait We can praise You now in victo - ry CHORUS King of glo - ry, fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You King of glory fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You BRIDGE 1 (3x) So I’ll sing hallelujah until You come a - gain And I’ll dance in Your presence until You come a - gain BRIDGE 2 Sing hallelujah until You come again Dance in Your presence, dance in your presence Dance in your presence, dance in your presence CHORUS (3x) King of glo - ry, fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You King of glory fill this place, I just wanna be with You, I just wanna be with You 25 King of Glory King David declared in Psalm 24:8, “Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, in- vincible in battle.” He is our King who goes before us in whatever battles we are facing. One day the Bible says that “at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.” That about covers it. “Every tongue will declare that Jesus Christ is Lord.” If that is true, we sing in this song So let’s start right now, why would we wait? We ask the King of glory, fill this place.

FIFTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST Servant Leadership July 5, 2020 10:00 a.m. We extend a special welcome to those who are joining us for our live stream on this Lord’s Day as guests and friends. Come, let us worship our Risen Lord! SHARING COMMUNION DURING THIS TIME OF SEPARATION While the Lord’s Supper is designed to be a shared meal, we are going to celebrate it “together in separation.” This morning we will celebrate the sacrament during our live stream worship service. The pastor will share the liturgy for the sacrament during our time of worship. So this is what we are inviting you to do prior to the service: • Prepare your own bread and cup. (Any bread and juice you have on hand will do.) • Prepare a place at your table, just as we will prepare the Lord’s table in the Sanctuary. • Perhaps light a candle or open your Bible to the Scripture we will read during the service. • Most importantly, prayerfully ready yourself to participate in the service and receive the gift of the Sacrament. PRELUDE David Cantwell, piano WELCOME CALL TO WORSHIP Rev. L. John Gable Leader: How good and pleasant it is when people live together in unity. People: It is like precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard and over the collar of the robe. Leader: It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. People: For there the Lord ordained His blessing, life forevermore. Unison: In the unity of faith, let us worship the God of our salvation.

We are amazed by the God who has created all that is, and who is the engineer or crafter of the cosmos, designing and assembling all the details. But we also know from science that the details of organisms change through time according to their situations – that is, they evolve through adaptation and natural selection. Some people take this to mean that there is no role for God in the evolution of life on our planet, but they miss the point that it is through God’s love and humility that the processes of nature operate, bringing growth and adaptive change.
