SUPPLY PACKING LIST

Please bring ONLY what is listed on this Supply Packing List in no more than two (2) bags (i.e., duffel bags, luggage, and/or plain bags). Expensive items are NOT recommended.

SUPPLY PACKING SPECIAL NOTIFICATIONS

FEMALES: 1. Hair MUST be natural hair color, no longer than shoulder length, not bulky, and be able to be secured in a bun off of the shoulders while in . 2. Hair clips and barrettes must be transparent and/or the color of the natural hair. 3. NO type of extreme size hair braids.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: 1. Civilian – except the items on this packing list. All other outerwear clothing (, , , gloves, , and sleepwear) will be provided by SCYCA. 2. Drugs and/or drug paraphernalia - tobacco, tobacco products, vapors/vaping devices, cigarette lighters and/or matches, alcohol, aerosol cans, etc. 3. Electronic devices – radios, clock radios, speakers, CDs/DVDs, CD/DVD players, iPods, iPads, cellphones, tape recorders, cameras, televisions, tablets, computers, computer games, etc. 4. , bandannas, clothing, and/or literature with obscene language and/or symbols that are promoting drugs, alcohol, gang, and/or sexual activities. 5. Jewelry, , bands, etc. 6. Non-prescription medications including food supplements. 7. Outside items – balloons, candy, drinks, flowers, food, and/or gifts. 8. Posters, poster-sized pictures and/or inappropriate pictures and/or symbols. 9. Weapons – brass knuckles, clubs, firearms, knives, mace, razor blades, etc.

BIRTHDAYS: No visitations, pickups, telephone calls, cakes, cookies, flowers, balloons, etc.

MAIL: ONLY appropriate cards, letters, postcards, and/or the items on the Supply Packing List are allowed.

YOUTH CHALLENGE HANDBOOK: A Youth ChalleNGe Handbook and the SCYCA Telephone Contact List will be provided on Registration Day. Please read the handbook thoroughly. If there are additional questions, please contact the appropriate department. For example, if there is a medical question, then the Medical Department would need to be contacted. Please only leave one (1) voicemail message and a good callback telephone number.
