[2] It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner’s son(victim), Guangsingam Dangmei, was studying in class-VIII in Tentmaker’s Academy, Longmai-III (Noney), Tamenglong District. While studying he was also helping his parents as a quarry labour and thereby petitioner’s son was earning at least Rs.600/-per day.

At present, our Department has three faculty members. Every year around 400 students enrolled in our Department. Sanctioned seat for honours course is 100 of which around 60 students offer honourse. Pass percentage of our Department ranges between 60 to 70 percent. Unit test in the University question pattern are held for every semester, twice for honours students and once for general students. Seminars are compulsory for Honourse students of 5th and 6th semester. Unit test and seminars are not in the ordinance of Manipur University. But in our college, these seminars and unit test are compulsory and held for the betterment of the students. Academic Activity: Faculty members are regularly participated in various academic activities like orientation, refresher course, seminars on international and national level, published books, and presented papers in journals.

    F.No.9-3/2013-S&F Government of India Ministry of Culture S&F Section ***** Dated the 9th September, 2013 MINUTES OF TWENTY FIFTH MEETING OF THE EXPERT COMMITTEE UNDER THE CULTURAL FUNCTIONS GRANT SCHEME (CFGS) HELD ON 2 ND , 3 RD AND 16 TH JULY 2013. The 25 th meeting of the above Expert Committee was held on 2 nd , 3 rd and 16 th July 2013 under the Chairmanship of Ms. Arvind Manjeet Singh, Joint Secretary to consider the proposals for financial assistance under CFGS. A list of the members who attended the meeting is annexed. 2. The Expert Committee considered 531 applications and which were complete and supported with all documents as required under the Scheme. The Committee examined each and every proposal individually before taking decision and recommended the following 264 proposals tabulated below for financial assistance under the scheme. The committee further recommeded that the organizations who have already conducted the programme/festivals/ Seminar/exhibitions etc. as submitted by them in project proposal, (marked * in the table) the expert committee has recommended the grant subject to the condition that the amount will be released after submission of the proof of the event having taken place within 40 days of the Minutes uploaded on website of the Ministry indiaculture.nic.in .     Joint Needs Assessment Report on Manipur Floods, 2015 Joint Needs Assessment Report This report contains the compilation of the JNA –Phase 01 actions in the state of Manipur, India in the aftermath of the incessant rains and the subsequent embankment breaches which caused massive floods in first week of August 2015 affecting 6 districts of people in valley and hills in Manipur. This is the worst flood the state has witnessed in the past 200 years as observed on traditional experiences. The Mission also values the hospitality and support extended by the Department of Education from the Principal Secretary Primary Education, Director- School Education, school teachers; the state office of the Mid May Meals to the MDM kitchen staff in schools; the SMC members of the schools in districts of Imphal West and Senapati and finally, the student and the village community more importantly.     Presentation on Project Proposals for PMAY-Housing for All(Urban) Central Sanctioning & Monitoring Committee (CSMC) 8th December, 2016 MANIPUR Background- Housing for All(U) PMAY-HFA(U) is a National Flagship Programme launched in June 2015. At its launch, only Class-I towns were eligible for coverage under this Mission. On the request of State Govt., all the 28 towns of Manipur have been included under HFA(U) mission. Only 27 towns are considered at present as Moreh STC is not having an elected ULB at present. The required MoU has already been signed for successful implementation of the mission. The detailed norms for ‘Enhancement’ under 4th vertical of BLC was issued by the Ministry in June 2016 only.
