Minutes of Twenty Fifth Meeting of the Expert Committee Under the Cultural Functions Grant Scheme (Cfgs) Held on 2 Nd , 3 Rd and 16 Th July 2013
F.No.9-3/2013-S&F Government of India Ministry of Culture S&F Section ***** Dated the 9th September, 2013 MINUTES OF TWENTY FIFTH MEETING OF THE EXPERT COMMITTEE UNDER THE CULTURAL FUNCTIONS GRANT SCHEME (CFGS) HELD ON 2 ND , 3 RD AND 16 TH JULY 2013. The 25 th meeting of the above Expert Committee was held on 2 nd , 3 rd and 16 th July 2013 under the Chairmanship of Ms. Arvind Manjeet Singh, Joint Secretary to consider the proposals for financial assistance under CFGS. A list of the members who attended the meeting is annexed. 2. The Expert Committee considered 531 applications and which were complete and supported with all documents as required under the Scheme. The Committee examined each and every proposal individually before taking decision and recommended the following 264 proposals tabulated below for financial assistance under the scheme. The committee further recommeded that the organizations who have already conducted the programme/festivals/ Seminar/exhibitions etc. as submitted by them in project proposal, (marked * in the table) the expert committee has recommended the grant subject to the condition that the amount will be released after submission of the proof of the event having taken place within 40 days of the Minutes uploaded on website of the Ministry indiaculture.nic.in . The organizations (marked # in the table) have to submit the date/dates on which the programme/festival/Seminar/Exhibitions etc. is proposed to be conducted within 40 days of the Minutes uploaded on website of the Ministry indiaculture.nic.in . The Mission also values the hospitality and support extended by the Department of Education from the Principal Secretary Primary Education, Director- School Education, school teachers; the state office of the Mid May Meals to the MDM kitchen staff in schools; the SMC members of the schools in districts of Imphal West and Senapati and finally, the student and the village community more importantly. Baseline Survey of Minority Concentrated Districts District Report SENAPATI Study Commissioned by Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India Study Conducted by Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development: Guwahati VIP Road, Upper Hengerabari, Guwahati 781036 1 ommissioned by the Ministry of Minority CAffairs, this Baseline Survey was planned for 90 minority concentrated districts (MCDs) identified by the Government of India across the country, and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi coordinates the entire survey. Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development, Guwahati has been assigned to carry out the Survey for four states of the Northeast, namely Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Manipur. This report contains the results of the survey for Senapati district of Manipur. Economic Survey, Manipur, 2016-17
P R E F A C E The ‘Economic Survey, Manipur, 2016-17’ presents a broad analysis of the latest economic situation of the state based on performance appraisal data collected from various sources. It is the 21st issue of the series. The salient feature of the State’s economy is briefly discussed in Part-I and supporting statistical tables are presented in Part-II. Some of the chapters/tables have been modified in the present issue on the basis of the data-base made available by the different Agencies/Departments. The district level data presented herein relates to the 9 (Nine) Districts which existed before the creation of the new 7 (Seven) Districts in December, 2016. Certain information are depicted in the form of charts. It is hoped that with the active co-operation of different Organisations/Departments, the Directorate will be able to make improvements in the quality and contents of the publication in its future issues. The co-operation and help extended spontaneously by different Departments of the Government, local bodies and private institutions are gratefully acknowledged. I also appreciate all the officers and staff of the Economic Analysis (EA) and Coordination and Publications (CoP) Units of the Directorate for their untiring efforts put in for preparation of the current issue of the publication. The co- operation extended by the Printing Unit of the Directorate in printing and binding of the publication is also gratefully acknowledged. Mention may be made of the difficulties faced in gathering relevant information about the District as the administrative delineation is in nascent stages and dis-aggregated data for the District are not available from the concerned departments yet. as expected and most of potentials of the district is obtained from various persons who thoroughly knows about the district.
