Derbyshire Law Centre announces new name and location

Tony McIlveen, Senior Solicitor at Law Centre, announces a new location has opened in Chesterfield. He said “We are pleased to report that we have moved premises as well as having changed Chesterfield Law Centre’s name to Derbyshire Law Centre”. Derbyshire Law Centre’s new premises are based at Chesterfield Borough Council on the lower ground floor where the old housing offices used to be.

The Law Centre provides free legal advice, assistance and representation service to individuals and families across the county from its new main office in Chesterfield as well as from seven branch and outreach offices across Derbyshire. The offices in Bolsover, , Chesterfield, , Matlock, Ripley and Staveley are open Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Michael Gordon, Chairperson of Derbyshire Law Centre’s Management Committee, said “I am pleased to see that Derbyshire Law Centre along with Derbyshire Unemployed Workers’ Centres, TRUST and Links Council for Voluntary Sector have moved into the Town Hall where they are sharing premises on the lower ground floor. This will benefit all Derbyshire residents to be able to access independent legal advice services.that the Law Centre provide.”
