Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum The Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum (Malay: Makam Diraja Al-Ghufran) is a Royal Mausoleum of Perak located near Ubudiah Mosque at Bukit Chandan in Jalan Istana, Kuala Kangsar, Malaysia. The first Sultan of Perak buried here was Sultan Idris Murshidul Azzam Shah I in 1916. The Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum was built in 1915. The mausoleum architecture is a Moghul style and similar to the Taj Mahal in India. The Perak royal mausoleum or Al Ghufran Royal Cemetery is the next most beautiful royal mausoleum in Malaysia after Makam Mahmoodiah in Johor Bahru, Johor. It is located near Ubudiah Mosque in Kuala Kangsar.
