WELCOME Our Festival is designed to be one way of putting the strong educational practice in Havering on the map and is supported by the Local Authority, the Havering of Leadership, the Primary and Secondary Teaching Schools, The Havering Colleges and LIFE Education Trust.

We have designed our programme to create a sense of excitement, engagement and en- joyment across our educational community.

We have chosen three strands for the week: Leadership, Pedagogy and Inclusion. These support the Havering Vision for Education. Participants can choose as many different kinds of session as they want from our extensive programme. Further details and book- ing is through our website www.haveringfestivalofeducation.co.uk.

Vision Teaching was established in February 2007 by our owners Daniel and Craig, who set Vision Teaching up to be a different type of educational recruiter, one that was committed to excellent customer service and building long-term relationships and bringing schools and high-quality candidates together. We have filled over 400,000 bookings and successfully placed almost 5,000 educators into roles. By solely focusing on London we can prioritise attracting and retaining quality staff from all over the world, so that we can make a real difference to the lives of pupils in our partner schools. We are one of the last established, independent education recruitment companies in London, which allows us to base our decisions on our core values, and improve the reputation of the education recruitment in London by being a shining example of how we all should behave. We believe in doing things the right way, developing relationships based on understanding and respect and this is reflected by Vision Teaching being one of the Top 10 rated education recruitment agencies in the UK, with 9/10 on Rate My Teaching Agency, 4.7/5 on Facebook and 4.5/5 on Google. We intelligently match educators to schools to provide an outstanding recruitment service that adds value, even when providing temporary cover. We believe in matching the right educator, to the right school, so they can make a difference to the lives of pupils and ultimately raise attainment. THANKS ALSO TO...

Supply Desk have been operating since 2002 and have been working in a formal partnership with Havering Education Services since 2018, however, the relationship between the recruitment consultancy and many of the borough’s schools extends to over a decade. As recruitment partner for HES, Supply Desk’s mission is to support all schools across the borough in all aspects of recruitment. Our aim is to provide a seamless integrated service which provides solutions for all staffing and recruitment needs a school might have; from day to day cover to permanent roles.

As part of our successful partnership with Havering, we have developed an annual overseas recruitment tour, in which we fly a Havering Headteacher to Australia with the aim of recruiting exceptional education staff to work in Havering schools. The tour forms a key part of the consultancy’s commitment to Havering schools. It is a hugely exciting opportunity to show case schools and the borough and establish long lasting relationships with overseas candidates who can make a real difference.
