Dua Lipa was the most streamed female artist on Spotify, winning with such artists as Taylor Swift or Lorde. Her particular singles were streamed half a billion times. Shall we keep on counting? Six months after its premiere the video for “New Rules” has almost billion views. “New Rules” is at the same time her number one in Great Britain. Let’s add to it all half million of album copies sold in the whole world and great reviews praising the fresh approach to pop music – this all is a complete image of a rising world class music star. Dua Lipa is careful in choosing her co-operators, that is why we heard her in great songs by Martin Garrix and Sean Paul. These successful collaborations, and most of all the debut album, brought her a series of prizes: NME Award for the Best New Artist or MTV Europe Award for the Best New Artist. “New Rules” was also awarded as a single (BBC) and video (MTV).
