By plane:
Peinador, Vigo’s Airport, is Galicia’s southern airport and is only 20 minutes from the city centre. Flying is the fastest option when travelling to Vigo from Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Alicante, Seville, Malaga, Minorca, Tenerife North, Tenerife South, Gran Canaria, London, Dublin, Milan, Edimburgh, Paris, Rome, Bologna and Lisbon, since these cities have direct flights to Vigo. Once you’ve landed, you can take a taxi or bus to the city centre.

By train:
You can travel to Vigo by train from Madrid, Barcelona, Ourense, Pontevedra, Santiago, A Coruña, Ponferrada, León, Bilbao, Alicante and Porto. If you’re in Madrid, you have three options: the Intercity train, the Alvia train and the Hotel Train.
