Tournament Details

1. Tournament Rules ● The tournament will be played in accordance to TISSA rules

2. Tournament Format ○ Boys Division ■ Round robin in pool play ■ Top of pools advance to the medal round ● Another round robin format will be played to determine first, second and third ○ Girls Division ■ Round robin in pool play ■ Top of pools advance to the medal round ● Another round robin format will be played to determine first, second and third ■ Teams that don’t top the pools play a consolation game

3. Game Officials ● Professional referees will be calling all games with the aid of competent MAC High School students acting as scorekeepers.

4. Food and Drinks ● Concessions will be sold from 10 AM to 2 PM (approx). Food items for sale include burgers, hotdogs bread sticks, snow cones, soda, bottled water. ● Water from the drinking fountains are filtered and are potable. ● There is a 7-11 right beside the school

5. First Aid ● First aid personnel will be available throughout the day

6. Warm-up Balls ● Teams are to provide their own warm-up balls

7. Game Balls ● Morrison Academy Central will provide game balls

8. Others ● Teams should be at their assigned courts at their scheduled game times for the tournament to stay on time

Section 18 – MS Volleyball Rules

FIVB rules will be applied, except for the following amendments: ​

rd 1. Matches are best 2 out of 3 sets. The 3 ​ set is to 15 pts All sets must win by 2 pts. ​

2. Maximum roster size during the TISSA Tournament is 15 players.

3. The Libero Rule will not be employed. ​ ​

4. G6 is continuous rotation. G7- Up to 4 designated players to stay on court continuously. The remaining 2 players are subbed out after a full rotation. Middle back position is the subs spot. G8 Unlimited substitutions are permitted, however the following ​ restriction will apply. In any given set, once Player A has been replaced by Player B, these two players can only replace one another. This means that a maximum of 12 players are permitted to play in each set for each team. When a new set commences, the previously established pairing between Player A and Player B no longer applies. New pairings may be created with the start of each new set.

6. Service – a maximum of 5 consecutive serves is permitted per player in G6 and G7 ​ league and tournament play. G6 are allowed to step in 5 feet from the service line. (all overhead servers must serve from the back line)

7. TISSA Tournament Tiebreaker Rules: a. Head to head result between two teams. b. Set differential head to head between tied teams c. Point differential head to head between tied teams d. Overall point differential during round robin play e. Coin Toss by Tournament Director
