Little Women is a story based on the novel by American author (1832–1888), which was originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869. The story features the lives of the four sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy and details their passage from childhood to womanhood. It is loosely based on the lives of the author and her three sisters.

The 2019 movie is placed in the mid 1800s during Abraham Lincoln's time and still tells the story produced by Alcott. This movie shows romance and friendship between the characters and gives a great visual for the audience who have read the novel. However, even if you haven't read the novel, Little Women still shares the same great story and brings that story to life. Little Women shows how Women can be strong and really empowers them. The movie also shows how important family is and can really touch people's hearts.

In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as an author, while her sister Amy spends her time painting in Paris. Amy gets an opportunity with

Theodore, a youth love who proposed to Jo, however, was turned down when she didn't want to settle. Their oldest sister, Meg, is hitched to a tutor, while the youngest and most introverted sister Beth builds up an overwhelming sickness that unites the family back together in the end.

This movie has so many twists, turns and lots of romance so you would definitely want to make time for it.
