At the end of it is a roundabout they sometimes turn right at the roundabout, watch your back wheel (i.e. maintain road position, check mirrors). Some drivers have hit the kerb here. ● On Morayfield Road, down the Burpengary end, there are some changes in speed zone. So monitor your speed. ● If you are coming up Morayfield Road and the examiner asks you to take a left into King Street, be wary of the Pedestrian ● Crossing. People often cross here and your vision is restricted due to the building on you left. Sometimes they are slow to leave the road. Manage your space, have an escape. ● Be wary of the 60 zone on Anzac Avenue between Petrie and Kallangur. Watch that you don’t go over the speed limit going down the hill. There is a GIVE WAY sign which is sometimes obscured if the trees on the side of the road haven’t been trimmed for a while. ● Redcliffe has a number of roundabouts marked left lane ONLY turns left and right lane goes straight ahead or right e.g. the roundabout outside Dolphins Rugby League Club. ● There is a Transit Lane on Anzac Avenue at Rothwell. ● King Street is a popular place for hill starts. ● Be mindful the arrow painted on the roads at Woody Point along Oxley Avenue and the giveway signs ● 40 zone along the waterfront at Margate ● all day 40 zone at Southern Cross Catholic College. ● Anzac Avenue Roundabout - be mindful of lanes selection - when entering, on the roundabout and exiting.
