One year has passed since the cable car started operating and it has achieved the planned number of passengers. The waterway is also one of the important transport modes of Rio de Janeiro. The number of passengers has been stable in recent years. The bus is the most important mode of transport in Rio. The number of passengers per day is about 3.5 million in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro.
