Filmed entertainment is a mainstay of PMG’s experience. We excel in hand-to- hand combat for release public relations for theatrical, digital and DVD releases of filmed entertainment, as well as unit publicity and film festivals.

We currently working on AN OPEN SECRET, Oscar nominee Amy Berg’s explosive documentary on child abuse in Hollywood; Alex Winter’s untitled Frank Zappa documentary; BOOM: a Film About the Sonics; and LONDON TOWN, a teen coming of age story featuring Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as Joe Strummer of The Clash; and Cannes Market entry WESTERN RELIGION. We just finished Bella Thorne’s Lifetime Film PERFECT HIGH and Rob Stewart’s environmental documentary REVOLUTION, and the. Last year, we worked on FINDING FELA!, Alex Gibney’s documentary (Produced by Knitting Factory Entertainment) on the life of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and the creation of the Fela! Broadway show.

We also served Dan Catullo’s DC3/City Drive Films, the Executive Producers of Academy Award nominated THE SQUARE and pre-eminent concert and music documentary producers. We handled remnant theatrical and home entertainment PR on their Sundance Audience Award-winning documentary ALIVE INSIDE, have also announced their documentary on hard rock act

Sevendust, a multi-episode TV series called NY Live, which showcases bands ranging from CHVRCHES to Kings of Leon.

Throughout 2013, we handled festival and release publicity for DOWNLOADED, Alex Winter’s landmark Napster documentary that was a sensation at SXSW 2013 and VH1.

We represent boutique distributors Breaking Glass Pictures. Breaking Glass releases 6-8 films a year including: ODD WAY HOME with Rumer Willis; K-11, Jules Stewart’s directorial debut starring Goran Visjnic, Kate Del Castillo, Portia Doubleday and D.B. Sweeney; the Rick Springfield documentary AFFAIR OF THE HEART; Michael Mayer’s same-sex Israeli/Palestinian love story/thriller (!); Siena Miller, Danny Huston and Jack Huston in 2 JACKS; and the hit documentary UNHUNG HERO by Brian Spitz. Other Breaking Glass releases include SCALENE starring Margo Martindale and 5 STAR DAY starring Cam Gigandet and Jena Malone.

We also represented NeoClassics Films’ national and platform releases including Christina Yao’s EMPIRE OF SILVER; Mona Achache’s critically acclaimed THE HEDGEHOG, based on the New York Times Bestseller The Elegance of the Hedgehog; the redoubtable spy thriller L’AFFAIRE FAREWELL with Guillaume Canet, Emir Kusturica and William Dafoe; ST. TRINIAN’S with Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Russell Brand, Gemma Arterton and Mischa Barton; Berlin winner THE BLACK BALLOON with Academy Award® nominee Toni Collette; Sundance Audience Award Winner CAPTAIN ABU RAED; Cannes Critics’ Week Winner MOSCOW, BELGIUM and SURVIVING CROOKED LAKE.

We represented The Collective’s Salient Media, who partnered with web site Bloody Disgusting and AMC and independent theatres to distribute “smart horror” festival films theatrically. They released six films under this banner: Sundance sensation THE WOMAN; Sion Sono’s COLD FISH; the cult German

We’ve done platform and wide release publicity for a wide variety of independent films, including: THE ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL EXPERIENCE concert film; the documentary LIMELIGHT about legendary club owner Peter Gatien; THE FIELDS starring Cloris Leachman; SCALENE with Emmy winner Margo Martindale; 5 STAR DAY starring Jena Malone and Cam Gigandet; SPINNING INTO BUTTER with Sarah Jessica Parker for Screen Media Entertainment; Spirit Award Nominee THE VICIOUS KIND with Adam Scott and Brittany Snow; Spirit Award Nominee THE DEAD GIRL; Sony Pictures Classics’ WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? Highlights include work on Lee Daniels’ THE WOODSMAN starring Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon; WE DON’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE with Naomi Watts; NORTHFORK; THE BOYS OF 2nd STREET; INTERVIEW (Steve Buscemi and Sienna Miller); the Joe Strummer documentary THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN, BLIND DATE; the INCOVENIENT TRUTH follow-up CLIMATE REFUGEES; Li’l Wayne’s THE CARTER, Michel Gondry’s BE KIND REWIND with Jack Black and Mos Def; and MERMAID. At Toronto, we worked with DOUBLES WITH SLIGHT PEPPER, winner of 2011’s short film award and 2012’s Genie; MY DOG TULIP; EDISON; and THE GHOST. We also annually handle premiere events for films at Toronto. For 2014 that included events for BLACK AND WHITE with Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer; Ethan Hawke’s directorial debut SEYMOUR: AN INTRODUCTION and 99 HOMES with Andrew Garfield, Laura Dern and Michael Shannon; a dozen films for 2013 including: HORNS with Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple; CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE with Kiera Knightley and Adam Levine; and THERESE with Jessica Lange, Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Felton. For 2012 it was SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS with Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell; WHAT MAISIE KNEW with Julianne Moore and Alexander Skarsgård; AT ANY PRICE with Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron; and THE ICEMAN with Michael Shannon, and Chris Evans and Ray Liotta. For 2011 we handled KILLER ELITE with Jason Statham, Robert De Niro, and Clive Owen; DARK HORSE with Todd Solondz, Justin Bartha, and Selma Blair; THE WOMAN IN THE FIFTH with Ethan Hawke; and THE LADY with Luc Besson and Michelle Yeoh.

We’ve handled project work for the America’s premiere graduate film institution, The American Film Institute and their AFI FEST Presented By Audi, as well as films and brands in the festival. Other Festival action includes The Sun Valley Film Festival; BendFilm in Bend, Orgeon; the inaugural Louisiana Film Festival in Baton Rouge; the AMFM Film, Music and Arts Festival in the desert in June 2013; the 3D Film Festival in Los Angeles; Palm Springs work for various filmmakers; and in the distant past, festivals including Florida, Santa Barbara and the Hamptons.

PMG also handles Festival sponsorship, events and brand marketing. At Sundance 2015 we supervised a spectacular Oculus Rift installation and lounge for technical shoe brand Merrell and hosted films and events from THE MASK WE LIVE IN to HOT GIRLS WANTED. We also supervised VW’s presence at Sundance,

We also worked with sponsors LG Electronics and WireImage. In 2014 at Sundance we handled Knitting Factory Entertainment, producer of FINDING FELA!; the Supper Suite by A-List Communications, which hosted five premiere events, for FRANK; LISTEN UP PHILLIP; THE ONE I LOVE; COOTIES and The Creative Coalition. For 2013 we hosted Outdoor Retailer’s Sundance experience venue which hosted seven film events, a photo studio and Adidas; BETWEEN US with Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs and events for the Korean Film Council (KOFIC); Village at the Lift and the Louisiana Film Festival. In 2012, we worked with LIVEstyle Entertainment, hosting 33 events from premiere parties and junkets to dinners and benefits.

On the TV side, we’ve handled Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, whose first season launched June 2013 on Animal Planet; Rock City Los Angeles for Revolt; Aaron Grissom on Top Chef Season 12 in October 2014 and Hey Kids, Let’s Cook!, a cooking and nutrition show on PBS.

Eshelman also led annual delegations to Cannes for years. There, he supervised clients as diverse and unusual as Pamela Anderson, Hugh Hefner, Dennis Rodman and Sheryl Lee Ralph, and brands and entities from Playboy Enterprises and Dark Horse Entertainment (Universal) to RKO Pictures and Alcon Entertainment.
