At airports having no radio facilities, pilots should monitor and advise intentions on CTAF 122.9. A few airports having no radio facilities have been designated to use a CTAF frequency other than the standard 122.9. These airports and their non-standard CTAF frequencies are listed in this directory. Flight Service Stations All airports in Washington are handled by Seattle AFSS, Oregon by McMinnville FSS, and in Idaho by Boise AFSS. In your initial contact with FSS, be sure to give your full aircraft identification, the frequency you are using, and your location. See the center map for locations of all the Remote Communication Outlets (RCQs) and their discrete frequencies. When possible, contact FSS by phone 1-800-WX-BRIEF.
