WOLFOND CENTRE FOR JEWISH CAMPUS LIFE build Located on the University of Toronto downtown campus, the Wolfond Centre, home to Hillel , has been serving students for community over 11 years. Hosting GTA-wide events and programming for the thousands of students from York University, University of Toronto, Ryerson University, as well as some colleges, now, more than ever, their programs support efforts to TOMORROW counter anti-Israel movements on campus.

CAMPAIGN MILES NADAL JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTRE Serving a revitalized and energized downtown community, in the past year, more than 3,700 children participated in various programs and activities, the “Gallery at the J” welcomed over 12,000 visitors to exhibitions, and over 30,000 individuals were part of the Al Green theatre audience.

JOSEPH & WOLF LEBOVIC JEWISH COMMUNITY CAMPUS AND SCHWARTZ/REISMAN CENTRE This past year, 16,000 individuals took part in programs and community/holiday celebrations; there are currently 8,300 registered members; and 60 after-school programs operate presently from the Schwartz/Reisman Centre.

HOLOCAUST EDUCATION CENTRE In addition to existing education initiatives, such as museum programs, symposia, and public Helping programs (panel discussions, gallery tours, film screenings and lectures) across the GTA, in 2014- 2015 the Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre of UJA Federation offered new programming each other and initiatives, including expanded programming for young professionals, Holocaust education for English-language learners, and special partnership honour programming in honour of the AGO exhibit of our past Lodz Ghetto photographs.

In spring 2015, the OJA completed the renovation of its vault, research areas, and offices, thanks to a grant from the Canadian government and a gift from the Blankenstein family.

The OJA is preserving the glass and exploring options for creating a tribute to the Yiddish language in the former Jewish neighbourhood.

COMMUNAL LEADERSHIP The Joshua Institute’s goal is to strengthen the leadership capacity of Toronto’s Jewish Helping community. In 2014/15, the Joshua Institute offered high level, interactive lectures and workshops to a dynamic group of emerging young leaders representing a cross-section of the each other Jewish community.

COMMUNITY GENESIS - UJA’S CENTRE FOR JEWISH INNOVATION Genesis enhances Toronto’s Jewish Community by nurturing emerging Jewish non-profit initiatives through its incubator by providing career mentorship and support for young adults. Through its programs, Genesis explores innovation and what this means for the Jewish community of Toronto.
