Sömuleiðis eru kynntar tvær kvikmyndir og ein teiknimynd. Við skoðun á hagræðingu frumtextans í öllum verkunum var tekið mið af þáttum eins og birtingu upplýsinga um höfund, útliti Heidi, trúarlegu innihaldi en einnig niðrandi orðalagi um og gagnvart Heidi. Breytingar á frumtextanum endurspegla viðhorf þýðenda eða höfunda endursagna til þess markhóps og markmenningar sem þeir hafa í huga.
