HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (February 19, 2014) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Paradise Bank and The Harcourt M. and Virginia W. Sylvester Foundation will present the next edition of the unique and high- energy rock-and-roll themed charity event – The Classic Rock & Roll Party . Held at Seminole Hard Rock on Saturday, March 1 at 5:30p.m., the special event benefits HomeSafe, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and domestic violence in South .

Iconic Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain , returns as the gregarious and entertaining Host of the event. One of the most successful bands in music history, Iron Maiden has an unrivaled fan following and has sold over 85 million records around the globe. McBrain has long been a supporter of HomeSafe. Event Co- Chairs are Debora Kellogg, Jayne Malfitano and Laura Sylvester.

The Seminole Hard Rock ballroom will be rockin’ with legendary rock singer, Eddie Money ( … Think I’m in Love ) performing a private concert for attendees. A sampling of musical acts, to date, on this year’s bill include John ‘Piano Man’ Allegue , former lead singer of Judas Priest Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, American Idol Top 24 finalist Brett Loewenstern , R&B songstress Bev Rohlehr , and the McBrainiacs . Other notable guests slated to attend include drummer Tico Torres , actor Chris McDonald (Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore and Goose McKenzie in Grease 2 ), and golf long drive champion Mike Zeigler .

“The Classic Rock & Roll Party is about coming together to support HomeSafe, which helps South Florida children who are victims of child abuse and domestic violence. We’ve been honored to have so many amazing musicians help us create a unique event that truly gives back,” said James Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming. “This year, we also remember the legendary Bill Clemons. Bill was a personal friend and my wife, Isabel, and I are deeply saddened by this great loss to music and to our community. Alongside his late brother, Clarence, Bill was also a tremendous supporter of HomeSafe.”

During the evening, Steven Bernstein, Chairman of SBA Communications Corporation, will be presented with the HomeSafe Hero Award by James Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming. Allen was the recipient of the award last year. Bernstein is being honored for his dedication to HomeSafe for his years of leadership and generous financial support.

More than 500 South Florida business leaders and philanthropists will have the chance to bid on an impressive array of live and silent auction items and will enjoy an energetic and rocking celebrity jam session produced by John Colby , a Grammy and Emmy award-winning composer, producer, music director, and keyboardist. Guiding attendees through the fast-paced evening will be comedian and actor Dean Napolitano .

The March 1 event will be preceded by a VIP-Celebrity golf tournament at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club on Friday, February 28.
