Black Executive Director FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Eddie Money & Blue Oyster Cult Complete Miller Lite Main Stage Lineup at 2014 Fair WAUKESHA, WI (March 20, 2014) --- Eddie Money and Blue Oyster Cult complete the 2014 Miller Lite Main Stage Lineup at the Waukesha County Fair. The bands will take the stage on Friday, July 19 at 7:30 pm. Eddie Money This straight up rock & roll icon has been making music and delivering it to his fans since the mid 70s and wouldn't have it any other way. With hits like "Two Tickets to Paradise", "Baby Hold On", "Walk on Water", "Think I'm In Love" and "Shakin", Eddie continues to be one of the hardest working men in rock & roll. A student of legendary vocal coach Judy Davis and prodigy of manager Bill Graham, the early days of MTV and music videos launched Eddie Money into stardom. An accomplished musician, he sings, writes and plays the saxophone, harmonica and piano. Blue Oyster Cult The Long Island, NY-based band is revered within the hard rock and heavy metal scene for its pioneering work for nearly four decades. They occupy a unique place in rock history for having earned both genuine mainstream critical acclaim as well as commercial success with classic hits such as the haunting "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla", "Burnin' for You" and so many more. The band is often cited as a major influence by other acts such as Metallica, and Blue Oyster Cult was listed in VH1's countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Main Stage acts are free with paid admission to the Fair. Special up-front seating is also available with VIP and ELITE VIP tickets which will go on sale April 1 while supplies last. July 16-20, 2014 marks the 172nd anniversary of the Waukesha County Fair, the oldest Fair in the state of Wisconsin. The Waukesha County Fair Association is a non-profit volunteer organization that is completely separate and receives no funding from Waukesha County or the City of Waukesha. Stockton Goes to the Beach Presents Ronnie Spector of the Ronettes Coming to the Cape May Convention Center July 29 For Immediate Release Wednesday, June 26, 2013 Contact: Suzé DiPietro Interim Director, Stockton PAC Galloway Township, NJ 08205 [email protected] (609) 652-4927 Galloway Township, NJ – The 12th annual Stockton Goes to the Beach Summer Concert Series continues at the Cape May Convention Center in Cape May, NJ for the summer of 2013, with Ronnie Spector and her revolutionary performing style lighting up the stage on Monday, July 29 at 8 p.m. Spector’s sensuality, dress, attitude and sound have served as an inspiration for a generation of rock ‘n’ roll women. Tickets are priced at $35 and may be ordered online at www.capemaycity.com or by calling 1-855-708-9699 or by going to the Cape May Convention Center. Beginning in 1963, Ronnie Spector - as lead singer of the ultimate girl group, The Ronettes - recorded a long string of classic pop hits: powerful, poignant teen anthems such as the Grammy Award-winning “Walking in the Rain,” “Do I Love You,” “Baby I Love You,” “The Best Part of Breaking Up,” “I Can Hear Music,” and the international Number One smash, “Be My Baby.” Only a few artists in history have been capable of defining an entire era in pop music. Ronnie Spector is one of those artists: the embodiment of the heart, soul, and passion of female rock and roll in the 1960s. And to this day, no one has ever surpassed Ronnie's powerful Colpix label.
