Organisers: Vivere Ateneo was born from a group of university students from the University of Palermo, who, starting from the experience of their degree course, joined together to create a new academic associative reality able to carry on their ideas and experience. Project description: The main purpose of the project is to analyse all the facets that make Sicilian culture unique. Besides to offer the general overview of the topics to be addressed during the meeting, the opportunity for the students involved will be to be able to touch, taste and admire the contamination present in Sicilian society. Through the breaking of the barriers, due to the distances of the European regions, it will be possible to raise awareness of the human value that the Sicilian people can transmit and therefore be a tool for transnational education, to which the project wants to focus.

Day 1 Sicily as cradle of culture in the Discussion and open questions regarding End of the October Mediterranean world: history and the Workshop working session 27th heritage. Eligibility criteria and selection criteria specific to this project: Students applying should comply with these requirements:  Good knowledge of the Italian Language;  Good knowledge of the English Language.

Then students should submit:  A letter of motivation in English for taking part in the project;  A brief description, in English, of their University career, giving priority of participation to students of the humanities sector.
