“Love Me” is the first single from I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. Billboard called “Love Me,” “a spirited step away from the radio-friendly teen rock of its debut” and “an impressive coming-of-age shift,” 'Love Me' fizzes with overweening confidence, fitting for a song Healy says is about narcissism ("got a beautiful face but nothing to say"), and is a monster hit whatever their inspirations.”

The 1975 are one of the breakthrough British bands of the past decade. They got together as school friends on the outskirts of Manchester and arrived, reinvigorating the alternative scene as they took 2013 by storm. It was a year that set the band on what Matthew Healy has described as a “delirious ascent”. Ament and Arthur met by chance on a June evening in 1999 when Arthur opened a show at the late, great New York club Wetlands on a bill headlined by Ament and Stuverud’s side project Three Fish. Twiztid is a Detroit Hip-Hop duo consisting of Jamie Spaniolo (Jamie Madrox) and Paul Methric (Monoxide). The duo formed in 1997 after they both departed from their previous group House of Krazees, and sent a demo to platinum-selling Hip-Hop group Insane Clown Posse, who immediately signed them to their Psychopathic Records imprint, taking the two under their tutelage. They released a string of successful albums under this label; their most successful was their seventh release W.I.C.K.E.D peaking at #11 on the Billboard 200. In 2012, they left Psychopathic Records, going on to create their own label Majik Ninja Records in 2014.

Celebrated world artist set to release Grammy-nominated trio recording Troubadours On The Rhine on vinyl on March 4. In continuing celebration of her 30th Career Anniversary, this seventh release is one in an on-going series of limited edition, audiophile vinyl pressings of the Loreena McKennitt catalogue

Celebrating over thirty years as Canada’s foremost, groundbreaking independent artist, Loreena McKennitt and her label Quinlan Road are pleased to announce the vinyl release of her 2011, Grammy Nominated recording Troubadours on the Rhine, recorded live in front of an invited audience at the Mainz studios of German radio broadcaster SWR1. Over the course of the evening of March 24th, 2011, McKennitt performed an hour long set drawn from the material on her then-current album, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, alongside traditional songs and fan favourites drawn from her catalogue. During the promotional tour of Europe during which this performance took place, McKennitt was accompanied solely by Brian Hughes (guitars) and Caroline Lavelle (cello), who have long been part of her tours and recordings.

“We’re excited about bringing more of my recordings into the vinyl format as more and more people discover its wonderful sonic strengths. This is an experience which has been largely lost over the past 15 years or so of this digital experiment we’ve been living. We have had a number of people share with us just how much they appreciate the sound of the vinyl as well as the pleasure of being able to hold the jacket in their hands and study the artwork, lyrics sleeve notes and credits".

Meanwhile, McKennitt — who has sold more than 14 million records worldwide—is preparing for her 2016 A Trio Performance American Tour opening March 3rd in Houston, Texas, which plays to over 30,000 people across 20 nights. This is her first visit to the west coast of the United States since 2007 and follows her highly successful fall of 2015 tour of Atlantic Canada and the northeastern United States.

Troubadours on the Rhine vinyl is a limited edition of just 5,000 copies, pressed at Record Industry in the Netherlands on 180g vinyl. Troubadours on the Rhine is the seventh in a series of collector’s vinyl limited edition releases from Quinlan Road and Loreena McKennitt since 2010’s The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

Long before Phil Collins joined Genesis, their first album was recorded in the summer of 1968. From Genesis To Revelation was an original concept album, an interpretation of the book of Genesis. The album features Peter Gabriel’s distinctive vocals, with piano and acoustic guitar, and is heavily reliant on complex chord structures. Their sound is reminiscent of The Moody Blues and very early Pink Floyd with a bit more real world sensibility.

This is the first time this album is on vinyl since its original release in 1974.

Al Muirhead's second album, "Oop!" is named after his long-time nickname (Alley Oop). The album follows on the Fall 2014 release of his debut album at 79 years old! Now at 80 years young, Al was joined in studio by jazz legends in their own right, Order of Canada and JUNO Award winner Tommy Banks (piano) and JUNO Award winner PJ Perry (saxophone), to record this project of favourite jazz standards.

Al Muirhead has long been an iconic figure on the Canadian jazz scene. And the trumpeter, composer, arranger, sideman and recording artist has been making listeners take notice for longer than jazz fans might realize. Muirhead unleashes melodies that are incredibly inventive and utterly timeless. Now at 80 years old, he shows no sign of slowing down, with the release of his second album "Oop" and more projects in the works!

Born in Regina in 1935, by age 12, he was playing in the Regina Symphony and dance bands. In his teens, Muirhead began to take notice of greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, and Charlie Parker. While Muirhead’s playing is infused with the indelible influence of jazz giants, his flowing, melodic sound is his own — and has become influential in its own right.

Muirhead has worked with legends such as Guido Basso, Diana Krall, Paul Anka, Rosemary Clooney, Frank Mills and Dizzy Gillespie. In 2013, he was honoured with the Western Canadian Music Awards’ Heritage Award for his mentorship and industry- building. In 2015, he earned the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival’s Special Recognition Award.

The Coral are an English band formed in 1996 in Hoylake, England. When „In Blue“ was released in 1995, many fans thought that Klaus Schulze: “The whole series was a very unpretentious this was the most typical Schulze record for a long time. They project. It was Pete who fortified him to go back to the analogue charm of his early albums and it was Pete who supported him in the modification of his analogue instruments, leading finally to the epoch-making Schulze album from 1996 - “Are You Sequenced?”

The Traffic Quintet’s latest project is dedicated to the film music of Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (famous for scoring such hits as The Grand Budapest Hotel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The Kings Speech).

Through this unique connection and intimate arrangements for chamber group, Solrey’s vision is to give film music a new lease of life apart from the films they were originally written for.

The album features guest appearances by Alain Planès (piano, celeste) and Alexandre Desplat himself (flutes, glockenspiel, celeste).
