Der Countdown läuft: Nachdem Lena im März zur Siegerin des deutschen Vorentscheids zum Eurovision Song Contest gekürt wurde, eroberten gleich drei Songs – „Satellite“, „Bee“ und „Love Me“ – die Top 5 der Singlecharts. In der Geschichte der deutschen Charts war dies keinem Künstler je zuvor gelungen. Der Gewinnersong „Satellite“, mit dem Lena in Oslo beim Finale antreten wird, stieg direkt auf Platz #1 ein und wurde mittlerweile mit 3fach-Gold (über 500.000 verkaufte Einheiten) ausgezeichnet. Nun darf sich Lena über ein weiteres Highlight freuen: Ihr Debütalbum „My Cassette Player“, das von Stefan Raab produziert wurde, stieg von Null auf Platz 1 an die Spitze der Albumcharts. Allein in der ersten Woche wurden über 200.000 Alben an den Handel ausgeliefert; der Platin-Award damit in greifbarer Nähe. Lena hat bei „My Cassette Player“ intensiv an den Texten mitgearbeitet. "Es ist eine richtige Mischung, von Pop bis Funk sind viele verschiedene Elemente dabei und wir führen das, was wir mit den ersten drei Songs angefangen haben, weiter fort", beschreibt Lena das fertige Werk. Neben „Satellite“ sind auch die beiden anderen, bereits bekannten Songs sowie Lenas Versionen von Adeles „My Same“ und Jason Mraz‘ „Mr. Curiosity“ auf dem Album zu finden. „My Cassette Player“ ist als Standard Version und als Deluxe Version inklusive einer 23- minütigen Dokumentation und dem Video zu "Satellite" erhältlich. This thesis presents the idea that music listening is actually an embodied and agentive form of reception that varies according to different listeners, their listening strategies, and other surrounding contexts. In order to provide detailed analysis of this assertion, Nirvana’s 1993 album In Utero is the primary recording that this thesis examines, arguing that the album contains specific embodied properties that ultimately allow for embodied forms of listening and responses within the musical experience. Dabei soll ebenfalls festgehalten werden, welchen Kriterien eine Musikproduktion gerecht werden sollte, damit sie vom Zuhörer als dynamisch klingend empfunden wird und welches Potential die Dynamic Range besitzt dem Loudness War entgegenzuwirken. Hierfür wurden die Dynamic Ranges von insgesamt 5269 Musikti- teln aus dem Zeitraum von 1982 bis 2017 bestimmt. This study contains a current tendency of the Loudness War which deals with the ques- tion in which way a louder and more compressed production impacts the dynamic of a song. The main focus of this study is to give an advice, which criteria should be fulfilled that music reaches an audience in a dynamic way and to show whether the Dynamic Range has got the potential to lead the Loudness War to an end.

With influences from science fiction, horror, weird, and literary fiction, the untitled novel blends genres for a disturbing account. This novel also plays with constraints in the spirit of many constraint-based writing movements, without the inclusion of names, few identifying markers, and in publication the removal of title, chapter numbers, page numbers, and author name.
