Summer Car Giveaway Terms and Conditions ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

1. The Summer Car Giveaway (the “Competition”) is run by Fairfax New Zealand Limited (“Fairfax”) under the following participating mastheads; The Dominion Post, , , Sunday Star-Times, Sunday News, Southland Times, Timaru Herald, , Nelson Mail, , , NZ House & Garden, NZ Gardener, TV Guide and (together “the participating mastheads”). Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

2. ELIGIBILITY: Employees and their immediate families of Fairfax, employees and contractors of Suzuki New Zealand (“Suzuki”) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. An entrant who has won a prize in the Competition already is not eligible to win another in the Competition. Entrants must be natural persons and schools, clubs and companies may not enter. Entrants must be New Zealand residents and 18 years or over. . ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

3. COMPETITION ENTRY: Entry method is online via www.stuff.co.nz/suzuki. Entrants may submit entries on a daily basis during the Competition period. All entries must include the relevant daily in-paper code from participating mastheads OR the daily bonus code given out by Stuff to Stuff Members. All codes will be eligible to submit until the end of the Competition. Entry is limited to one entry per code, per channel, per email address. Fairfax reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject; bulk entries in which it considers software to have been used to generate multiple entries and/or any entry Fairfax considers to be fraudulent in any other way. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

4. DATES: The Competition commences on Monday, 8 January 2018 and closes on Sunday at 11.59pm, 11 February 2018. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

PRIZE DRAW: One winner will be drawn at random to win a Suzuki vehicle on the following Mondays; 15 January 2018, 22 January 2018, 29 January 2018, 5 February 2018 and 12 February 2018. All valid entries received in the previous week (which begins on 00:01 each Monday and up to midnight on the relevant Sunday prior to the date of the draw each week during the Competition) will be eligible to win the prize for that draw. All draws will be made at the Fairfax offices at 4 Williamson Avenue, Grey Lynn, Auckland. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

PRIZE WINNERS: There will be five winners in total. The winner from each week will be announced in the participating mastheads and on www.stuff.co.nz/suzukigiveaway. Each entrant is only eligible to win one prize. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

5. PRIZE POOL: The prize pool consists of five Suzuki cars. Colour choices may be available but cannot be guaranteed. The prize car will be delivered to the winner's nearest Suzuki dealer for pick up. The prize car will be delivered with 12 months registration and warrant of fitness, 5 year/100,000km warranty, 5 year roadside assistance with AA and a full tank of fuel. Insurance for the vehicle is not included in the Prize and insurance must be arranged by the winner. The total value of the prize pool is $135,180 (incl GST). ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​​ ​ ​ ​ ​

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified by telephone using the number provided on entry. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 days, Fairfax reserves the right to redraw the prize. ​ ​ ​ ​

7. PRIZE DELIVERY: The winner must have a valid driver's licence in order to pick up the car or get a licenced driver to pick it up on his or her behalf. Transfers to the collection point are the responsibility of the Winner. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

8. NO CORRESPONDENCE: Fairfax’s decision regarding the Winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

9. NOT REDEEMABLE: The prize is not transferable, exchangeable nor redeemable for cash or other model and may differ from that pictured in promotional materials. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

10. INFORMATION: By entering the Competition, winners agree to their names being published, and to be photographed and/or interviewed by Fairfax, and Fairfax and Suzuki may use their names and photographs and/or interviews for publicity purposes. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

11. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES: Competition entries become the property of Fairfax, which will keep the personal information it holds about entrants confidential and will not disclose it to third parties. ​ ​ ​ ​

12. DATABASE: By agreeing yes to receive promotional information on the entry form, entrants to the Competition permit Fairfax and Suzuki to enter their personal information into a database for the purpose of contacting them directly about any Fairfax publications or Suzuki’s special offers, samples and other promotions. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

13. PRIVACY: Pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any personal information. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

14. NO LIABILITY: None of the participating mastheads, Fairfax or Suzuki (or any other company or individual associated with the Competition) shall be responsible for or liable in any way (including, without limitation in negligence) in respect of: (i) any additional costs to the winners associated with the prizes, including any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning; or (ii) any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever that is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) in connection with the Competition except any liability that cannot be excluded by law. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

Fairfax assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or any delayed entries. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
