Day 1: September 23 - Depart New York JFK airport for Rome - Depart on your overnight flight to Rome. Dinner served aboard flight.

Day 2: September 24 - Assisi - Arrive Rome where you will be met by your tour escort and awaiting motor coach after clearing customs and retrieving your luggage. Transfer to Assisi and check in at your Hotel. Enjoy some time to explore on your own the quaint streets that were home to St. Francis and St. Clare eight hundred years ago. Welcome dinner and overnight in Assisi.

Day 3: September 25 - Assisi - After breakfast, you will participate in a guided tour of Assisi, including such sites as the beautiful Basilica of St Francis, the Church of Santa Chiara which houses her incorrupt body and the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels which houses St. Francis’ special chapel, the Porziuncola. After lunch mass will be celebrated at the Church of San Damiano, where the image of Christ in the crucifix miraculously spoke these words to St. Francis: “Go repair my Church, which as you see is falling completely in ruin.” Late afternoon and evening free to explore the many winding streets filled with shops and cafes. Day 4: September 26 - Siena - After breakfast, we will depart for Siena, located in the central Italian region of . Siena is a medieval walled that still retains much of its charm. We will have a city tour on foot, visiting the and the Sanctuary, Birthplace of St. Catherine. A visit to the spectacular Cathedral is included as well as to the Eucharistic miracle of Siena before heading back to Assisi for dinner and overnight (B, D).

Day 5: September 27 - Orvieto / Rome - After breakfast we say goodbye to Assisi and make our way to Rome. On the way we will stop in Orvieto, the town that sits on a 1,000-foot high rock formation, poetically crowned by Italy’s most renowned Gothic cathedral. Because of its strategic location, Orvieto for centuries served as a refuge for the popes in troubled times. We will visit the famous Cathedral housing the corporale of the Miracle of the Eucharist in Bolsena. Free time to stroll the streets of this beautiful ancient town before continuing on to Rome for dinner and overnight (B, D).

Day 6: September 28 - Peter in Rome - After breakfast at our hotel just outside the $4,709.00 per person, Cash/Ck Vatican, we will take the Scavi Tour, (pending confirmation) exploring the first century Christian graveyard beneath St. Peter’s Basilica where the bones of the first pope are based on 40 participants & believed to have been discovered only decades ago. Mass at the Clementine Chapel double occupancy. (pending confirmation) in the Vatican Grotto will follow. After lunch we will tour of the Credit card: $4,897.00 per person. Not Included Day 10: October 2 - Behind the Walls of the Vatican - Pending the Holy Father’s schedule, we begin the day with a Papal Audience, followed by a visit to a Roman  Transportation to New York JFK dicastery, perhaps the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and (we’re hoping)  Optional Travel insurance of the chance to meet with a member of the curia and take a walk behind the Vatican (strongly recommended) walls.
