a SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM POLICY The Board has adopted a Solar Energy System Policy which is compliant with Civil Code Sections 714 and 4746. This policy defines the requirements that homeowners must meet when submitting architectural applications for the installation of solar energy systems. The Board recommends that homeowners who are contemplating the installation of a solar energy system become familiar with this policy to ensure all key elements are covered in their architectural application. A checklist has been developed from the policy to help homeowners understand the key information that is needed in the application. Both the Solar Energy System Policy and the checklist can be found in the Architectural Information Tab on the Siena HOA website or from Keystone Pacific.

JULY 20, 2020 BOARD MEETING RECAP  The Board approved the following Agenda items on the Consent Calendar without discussion: June 15, 2020 General Session Meeting Minutes; approval of the Architectural Submittal Report dated July 15, 2020; acceptance of the June 30, 2020 Financial Statements; and ratification of Association Funds Transfer of $17,730.00 for the July invoice from Park Landscape.  Ratified the following decision by the Executive Committee: (1) June 18, 2020 – Approved the proposal for $324.98 to order 1 touchless battery-operated hand sanitizer and 1 stand from Wrist-Band.com; (2) June 23, 2020 – Approved the order of acrylic table top replacements at $260.00 each from Miracoli Furniture; (3) June 24, 2020 – Approved the proposal from Best Pool Service for $268.49 to replace the relay for the spa booster jets; (4) June 26, 2020 – Approved the proposal for $400.00 from, Best Pool Service to have the filters cleaned and spa drained and filled as part of the recommended quarterly preventative maintenance; (5) June 26, 2020 – Approved the proposal for $2,018.39 from Scott English Plumbing to replace the leaking water heater in the women’s restroom closet. (6) July 5, 2020 – Approved the proposal for $525.00 from Villa Park Landscape to remove and replace plant material at one of the corners at the /Siena intersection; and (7) July 15, 2020 - Approved payment of the renewal invoice from Hydropoint for $2,350.00.  Approved the Proposed Delinquency Policy updated with Keystone’s Fee Schedule Addendum to be mailed to the membership for a 28-day comment period, as an Operating Rules Change, to be adopted at the September 21, 2020 Board meeting .

INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATE – MONTHLY MAINTENANCE  Repair perimeter wall at four corners of Pienza/Siena.  Paint 4 corners perimeter walls at Siena and Pienza intersection.  Mailboxes 37 – 47 Siena end cap replacement and sand/paint the bubbled paint on mailbox rails and mailbox, as needed.  Cut down 8 ft. metal post and install new sign at the pool area.  Paint number 2 on the mailbox in black paint at 22 Pienza.  Sweep off the column caps on Parc Vista West that are by 1 – 15 Siena.  Completion of painting project for Pool Area, Guardhouse, Vehicle and Pedestrian Gates, Directory Box and Residence lane fob box/post.

LANDSCAPE PROGRESS REPORT Maintenance Items and General Information:  Routine maintenance is done on a four (4) week schedule.  Mowing will be done every week on Thursday.

Turf:  Landscape committee will present a proposal to the Board to dethatch and reseed the grass in Siena. If approved, this work would occur in the October time frame.

Trees:  Just a reminder that Siena’s Landscaper provides all landscaping services for trees, shrubs, plantings and turf in the common & sub-association areas. No other landscapers are allowed to work in these areas per the CC&Rs.  The Tree Inventory List has been updated but the information needs some discussion with VPL and verification with the landscape committee. The final list will be presented to the Board later this year.

Irrigation:  ET Controller Proposal will be presented to the Board for discussion/approval. WeatherTrak will not be supporting the ET Pro2 controllers as of Jan, 01, 2021. The old ET Pro2 controllers are 2G and the new ones will be 4G. We have eight ET controllers that need updating.  As sprinkler heads break down, our landscaper is replacing the old Toro sprinkler heads with Rainbird sprinkler heads. The Rainbird sprinkler heads have a check valve in them that ensure water does not back out of the line.  There were two mainline breaks.
