How to Find a Word, Words, Or a Sentence in This Pdf's How to find a word, words, or a sentence in this Pdf’s First you need to download the Pdf or the Pdf’s on your computer. Ones you have clicked on a Pdf title, after a while, you will see the Pdf opening. Download-speed depends on your internet speed and your computer. Make your choice “current document” or “All Pdf documents in” If you made the choice “All documents in”, click on the arrow right on the bar below it. There you can look for the place on your computer where you have the Pdf-Folder. If you don’t see the folder click on “Browse for location” and find the folder on your computer, then click on it once. This is the place where the search will be done. Below the definition of the place you can fill in the word, words or even a sentence that you look for in all of the Pdf’s. Below that you can select the format for the search if needed. Click on “Search” button below, another window will open. If you see a Security Warning pop up, click on “Allow” At this point, the computer will do the search, if your word(s) are found in one or more of the Pdf’s you will see the Pdf(‘s) in the “Results:” Near the found results, you see a “+” on the left side, click on it to see all the places in that Pdf where the text is found. You will see part of the sentence where it is located. Click on the sentence you want, the Pdf will open automatic and on the page where the word or sentence is located. Enjoy. A day earlier we reported on the five-year-old in Massachusetts who faces suspension for building a small toy gun out of lego bricks and play-shooting his classmates. Also last week, we reported on an incident that erupted when a discussion between two children about a toy nerf gun caused a lockdown and a massive armed police response at two elementary schools in the Bronx. Earlier this month, a Long Island high school was also placed on lock down for 6 hours in response to a student carrying a toy nerf gun. Another incident this month saw a five-year- old girl suspended after a three hour grilling, and described as a “terroristic threat”, when she brought a pink bubble gun to school. Last week, a South Philadelphia elementary student was searched in front of classmates and threatened with arrest after she mistakenly brought a “paper gun” to school. A 6-year-old boy was suspended from his elementary school in Maryland for making a gun gesture with his hand and saying “pow”. Days later another two 6-year-olds in Maryland were suspended for pointing their fingers into gun shapes while playing “cops and robbers” with each other. In Oklahoma, a five-year-old boy was also recently suspended for making a gun gesture with his hand. Pavlik, Ph.D. For the last decade, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (TDS ), a (Comedy Central) cable comedy show, has been increasingly seen as an informative, new, even revolutionary, form of journalism. A substantial body of literature appeared, adopting this view. On closer inspection, it became clear that this view was tenable only in specific circumstances. It assumed that the comedic structure of the show, TDS ’ primary text, promoted cognitive polysemy, a textual ambiguity which encouraged critical inquiry, and that TDS ’ audiences perceived it accordingly. As a result I analyzed, through a dual - encoding/decoding - analytical approach, whether TDS ’ comedic discourse educates and informs its audiences in a ii manner which encourages independent or critical reading of the news. Through a multilayered textual analysis of the primary and tertiary texts of the show, the research presented here asked, “How does TDS ’ comedic narrative (primary text) work as a vehicle of televised political news?” and “How does TDS ’ audience decode its text?” The research identified flaws in the existing literature and the limits inherent to any similar endeavors.
