WELL ISN'T THAT SPECIAL • Eliminate Market Access Program -- $200 million annual savings. • USDA Sugar Program -- $14 million annual savings. • Subsidy to Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) -- $93 million annual savings. • Eliminate the National Organic Certification Cost-Share Program -- $56.2 million annual savings. • Eliminate fund for Obamacare administrative costs -- $900 million savings. • Ready to Learn TV Program -- $27 million savings. • HUD Ph.D. Program. • Deficit Reduction Check-Off Act. • TOTAL SAVINGS: $2.5 Trillion over Ten Years My question is, what is all this doing in the budget in the first place?! Maybe this is why the Democrats are attacking Paul Ryan. Please Send to everyone you know. There are so many places where money could be SAVED – cuts could be made. I would like to see the entire budget. To start with – adopt the Fair Tax and do away with the IRS. The Dept of Education should be closed – yes, completely closed. The Federal Department of Education started in 1980, under Jimmy Carter. The majority of EPA could/should be stopped; etc. Is there somewhere we can see a complete budget of the Federal Government? I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that the only duty of the Federal Government, according to the Constitution, is dealing with Branches of Military and Federal Defense. The States were to take care of everything else for themselves and work with each other. How did we get into such a mess? I was browsing and look what I found. Opinion of Loretta Lynch Written by Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ [ESQ. stands for "esquire", which is an old-timey way of saying lawyer.] I started investigating Loretta Lynch, Obama’s pick for Attorney General and immediately could see an interesting connection. I read an article stating that when Loretta Lynch started Harvard, she co-founded an African-American sorority. There was only one other girl in this sorority, Sharon Malone. The name rang a bell. The name of the wife of AG Holder is Sharon Malone, she is the sister of a known civil rights leader Vivien Malone-Jones (one of 2 black students who enrolled in all white University of Alabama). I checked the age: both were born in 1959 and both went to Harvard at the same time. There were very few African American students in Harvard in 1977-1981, so I am rather certain that Loretta Lynch is an old college friend of Sharon Malone, the wife of the current AG Eric Holder. Why this connection is important? Holder will be investigated by Congress for totally lawless gun trafficking to Mexican drug cartels in Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, VA scandal, DOJ, NSA, EPA, FEC and other scandals. Most importantly, Holder covered up Obama’s use of a stolen CT Social Security number of Harrison J. Bounel [042-68-4425] and Obama’s use 2 of bogus IDs. It seems that a long time college friend of Holder’s wife was picked up as a gatekeeper to continue all of the cover up by Holder and shield Holder and Obama from criminal prosecution. As far as I can find out this appointment has been put on hold until the new Congress members take office in January. Read carefully -- No wonder the Liberals think she is “the one”. Let’s hope our “newly elected” are aware of who she is & where she came from & what her records are!! – Don’t believe she is who & what “we” are wanting in that position!! Got any suggestions? Let your “new” & “old” Congressmen AND Congresswomen KNOW who Loretta Lynch is - who her buddies are, as well as her records!! Give this info lots of thought – hopefully – many will be replaced. Tell others of this -- Don’t just sit there!!! I had ask permission of the individual who sent me the sentence on “the boxes” to use them in the Newsletter. Pavlik, Ph.D. For the last decade, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (TDS ), a (Comedy Central) cable comedy show, has been increasingly seen as an informative, new, even revolutionary, form of journalism. A substantial body of literature appeared, adopting this view. On closer inspection, it became clear that this view was tenable only in specific circumstances. It assumed that the comedic structure of the show, TDS ’ primary text, promoted cognitive polysemy, a textual ambiguity which encouraged critical inquiry, and that TDS ’ audiences perceived it accordingly. As a result I analyzed, through a dual - encoding/decoding - analytical approach, whether TDS ’ comedic discourse educates and informs its audiences in a ii manner which encourages independent or critical reading of the news. Through a multilayered textual analysis of the primary and tertiary texts of the show, the research presented here asked, “How does TDS ’ comedic narrative (primary text) work as a vehicle of televised political news?” and “How does TDS ’ audience decode its text?” The research identified flaws in the existing literature and the limits inherent to any similar endeavors.
