Tracey Neville and the England team can now concentrate on the 2019 World Cup and then moving forward to the Commonwealth Games in 2022. England Netball want netball to be a career option for players and coaches. They want it to be a fully professional sport with a fully professional Superleague and they want to keep our young athletes in netball.. As women's football, cricket and rugby grow, Netball can't be left behind as a sport. In the next three to four years England Netball want to be as competitive as Australia, They want our top English stars playing in our Superleague and want to attract some of the top internationals too. "We need more investment in Superleague so it is a similar environment to the national squad." The England Roses face Uganda in a three-Test series on home soil next month and will now change their name to the Vitality Roses Go to www.netballsl.com for more information Courtesy of BBC Sport : England centre Serena Guthrie will return to Team Bath for the 2019 Superleague season The 28-year-old, who won four league titles with Bath, her first club, in an eight-year spell from 2007, is to leave Australian side Giants. One of the world's best players, she won Commonwealth Gold with England in April and was named in Super Netball's team of the year for the 2018 season. "I'm excited to come back home to where my career began," Guthrie said. "I've always wanted to come back and play in the English league and with the World Cup next year it makes sense to be back in the country in the build-up," she told BBC Sport. England captain Ama Agbeze says she plans to return to the UK's Netball Superleague next season. The 35-year-old has played in Australia and New Zealand for the past 10 years but said she now plans to return home. Agbeze has 49 England caps, helping them win golf at the Commonwealth Games on Australia's Gold Coast in April. "I'm going to be playing in Superleague, I'm coming back," she told BBC Sport. "I haven't put pen to paper yet but I'll be in the UK." The Netball World Cup will be staged in Liverpool in July 2019 and Agbeze says it would be good to return to the UK before the tournament. "I think Superleague has been growing over the years," she said. "Before, people said it's not that great a competition, but it's slowly getting stronger.
