Hello again Craft Beer Fans!
Last week saw 32 fresh new beer releases from our featured UK breweries and they all look incredible. From a tasty 2.7% table beer from The Wild Beer Co. to a stonking 12% Imperial Milkshake beer from Wander Beyond and nearly everything in between. Siren Craft also celebrated their 7th birthday releasing 3 new beers which all look amazing.
Sadly, it seems the coronavirus is wreaking havoc everywhere and events are being cancelled left, right and centre. Already we have lost two events from our Festival and Events calendar including the fabulous Hop City in Leeds, with many more likely to follow.
All we can do is keep vigilant, take precautions and keep drinking awesome beer!

Polly’s Brew Co. Bouquet 6.3% IPA A hop bill of new school mega hops Comet and Mosaic, and fermented with US05 for a crisp and balanced IPA.
Siren Craft Brew Every Minute Matters 7.2% IPA Collab with Green Cheek. Crisp, clean and refreshing, with pilsner malt making up most of the base with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Sabro.
Lost and Grounded Brewers Bitter 4.4% English Bitter Collab with Five Points. Pale, Crystal & Wheat malts with traditional English hops. Piney, citrusy, balanced and smooth.

Deya Brewing Co. I Got You! 8% DIPA Collab with Track & Verdant. A big, juicy DIPA with Citra Cryo in the whirlpool. Citra, Motueka and Vic Secret on the dry hop Brick Brewery Inashi 4.5% Sour Collab with Double Barrelled. Yuzi and plum Kveik sour. Fruity and juicy flavour with an Inashi-style tartness on the finish.

Neon Raptor Brewing Co. Delorean Dynamite 5.4% DDH Pale Ale Hopped with Sultana, Citra, Vic Secret and Chinook. Sultana brings a pineapple and citrus flavour to this beer.
The Wild Beer Co. Kalamansification 5% Fruited Sour Its bright colour comes from hibiscus flowers and has a big tropical fruit juice flavour and aroma.

Founded in Newcastle in 2000, Wylam have executed the tricky manoeuvre of spanning both the cask and keg markets more successfully than any other UK brewery, and would now be ranked on most people's lists as a top ten UK craft brewer.
The Wylam Brewery and Taproom are located in a magnificent old building called the Palace of Arts, which was built for the North East Coast Exhibition of 1929, and is located in Exhibition Park, about half a mile North of the City Centre.
The Taproom and lounge occupy a spacious area in the entrance lobby of the building, which can be peaceful on a weeknight, but which also can accommodate the 1,000 or so people who attend the regular music events that are staged in the splendid Grand Hall which occupies the centre of the building. One thing I can guarantee about Wylam is you will never drink better beer while watching a band than you do here!
The Taproom has 14 keg taps and 4 handpumps, supported by well-stocked fridges containing a wide range of leading UK craft beers. Somewhat unusually, the Taproom also has a extensive spirits stock, to keep your unenlightened companions happy!
On nights when they are not packed full of concert-goers, there is a decent food menu available, which you can peruse of their website in advance.
In summary, this is about as good as a Taproom can get! The combination of the location, the building, the beer, the food, the music venue and the Geordie hospitality should make this a must-visit on the bucket-list of all UK Craft Beer Fans.

Coming in October - The Boston Beer Party!
The tours will launch in September 2020 with a Boston Tour, and a Brooklyn Tour in October 2020. We will seek a UK brewery partner for both tours, ideally hosted in person by the owner or head brewer.
The Boston Tour will be an amazing four-night tour of the New England craft beer scene, including tutored tasting at some of the World's leading craft breweries.
The itinerary will include full evenings at both Trillium and Tree House, two of the top 5 Breweries in the World, according to Ratebeer.
The New England scene is so much more than just the big-name destinations. Our Tour will also take you to several other great Breweries, where you will be guaranteed the warmest of welcomes, as we taste our way through the beer menus.
The Brooklyn Tour will be an awesome introduction to this hot-bed or craft beer, including full evenings at the legendary Other Half and Finback Brewery Taprooms.
The Brooklyn Tour will also allow plenty of time to explore the sights and sounds of Manhattan. Alternately, if Wall St and the Empire State Building aren't really your thing, there are so many amazing Taprooms within a very dense area in Brooklyn, that you could visit 3 or 4 each day, and really immerse yourself in this amazing scene!
However you choose to play it, we will be on hand to make sure you get the most from the trip.
Both packages will include scheduled direct flights from the UK to the USA, and door-2-door transport whilst in the USA.
