The facilities have exceptional regulatory2 , environmental and safety requirements 3 with quality of life 3 consequences for everyone. 2 Sewage collection systems operate on gravity 4 flow to central lift or pumping stations which deliver the raw sewage to a treatment plant. Sewage decomposition produces Sewer Gas (Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Hydrogen Sulfide, et al) which presents Oxygen deficiency, toxic gas and the risk of fire or explosion hazards. Remote Calibration Fixture Fuels and industrial solvents might also be in 821-0218-01 the collection system. All of these gases and Run rigid condulet to transmitter. 5 vapors require monitoring to provide early warning of life threatening conditions. Remote mounted gas sensors with remote gassing simplify monitoring Wet Wells and screening difficult access areas for Methane or exposes workers to sewer gas or floating other hazards. Sensors may also be duct mounted in the same manner. 6 7 4 flammables and these areas are Hazardous , The Transmitter is at face level for Class I, Division 1, Group D. Placing electronic ease of routine maintenance. equipment in wet corrosive environments subject to flooding is not practical and Part Numbers 8 821-0207-02 Division 1 seldom done anymore.
