CheckMate valves offer a simple, versatile solution for preventing backflow of water and gases. Hand-fabricated valves feature heavy-duty elastomer unibody construction rated for up to 40-feet of back pressure. They feature no moving mechanical parts to corrode, catch debris or fail. Install valves from either the Partially upstream or downstream end of the pipe; simply position in pipe and secure with open included clamp. Valves are self-draining with a cracking pressure of only 1" of water. Valves are ideal for CSO, SSO, outfalls and odor control applications. Place them in interceptor, manhole and outfall pipelines to protect neighborhoods and sewage treatment plants from damaging backflow during flood conditions. For odor control, install in upstream and downstream pipes that go into problematic manholes. The valves eliminate backflow of methane and hydrogen sulfide gases, while still allowing water to flow in the desired direction.
