Pela 65ª. temporada, tem início neste 2º.semestre de 2020, a edição da Champions League, e da Europe League, que foi originária da Copa da UEFA em 1960 e mudaria de nomenclatura em 2010. O que Esperar A expectativa é sempre muito grande, principalmente a partir da disputa da fase de grupos, que adotam o regulamento de 6 rodadas, que neste ano pelo motivo da “pandemia” estará começando agora em outubro com 2 rodadas, seguindo em novembro e dezembro. No ano que vem, as fases a partir das Oitavas, tudo segue como todas as temporadas anteriores. Na Europe League também existe a fase de grupos, e sempre tem uma “turma de grandes times” que nesta temporada serão Roma, Arsenal, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven, Napoli, Milan, Celtic Glasgow, Tottenham e Feyenoord, dentre outros. A maior competição de clubes do planeta Entramos então na 65ª.temporada das copas europeias, no mesmo sistema de disputa, com as fases iniciais Eliminatórias até chegar a Fase de Grupos, Em 2021 vem os mata-mata, de fevereiro até maio, somente com grandes jogos. Em função da pandemia, a UEFA definiu a fase das quartas de finais em diante, em sede em Lisboa, Portugal. Já a Europe League teve sede em duas cidades da Alemanha. This move prompted the London Assembly’s Culture, Sport and Tourism committee to look into the issue of redevelopment for London clubs. With Fulham and Brentford yet to secure new stadiums for their clubs and question marks remaining over Arsenal’s and Tottenham’s grounds the issue is a live one. We do not want to see more clubs leave London. During the 2002/03 season about 5 million fans watched professional football in London. In addition, hundreds of thousands of Londoners participate every year in club sponsored community projects and play football. This report seeks to ensure that this added value isn’t lost to Londoners. We did not set out to judge local situations but to tease out lessons learnt by London football clubs. Football is more than just a business: the ties that a club has with its area and the fans that live or come from there are great. We recommend that more clubs have supporters on their board and applaud the work of Supporters Direct in rejuvenating the links between clubs and their fan base.
