He was jailed for twelve months in Germany from 1997 to 1998 and served a prison sentence from September 2004 to February 2006 in Fleury-Myrogis, France, on charges of fraud and illegal practices. Hamer subsequently lived in self-imposed exile in Spain until March 2007, when Spanish medical authorities blamed him for dozens of preventable deaths. By 1997, Hamer owned clinics in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands and lived in Norway until his death from a on July 2, 2017, at the age of 82. On August 8, 1978, Hamer's son, Dirk, was shot dead by the son of italy's last king, Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, while sleeping on a yacht near Cavallo, and died on 7 December of that year. Some time after Dirk's death, Hamer began to develop a German new medicine (GNM), which can be summarized in his five biological laws: the 1st Law (Iron Rule): Severe diseases come from a shock event that is felt by a person as very difficult, very acute, dramatic and isolated. Hamer's research is related to the science of embryology because it links the type of disease progression, whether it is tissue enlargement (tumor growth), tissue loss (necrosis or ulcer) or functional abnormalities - with the embryonic layer of microbes (endoderm, mesoderm or ectoderm), from which both organ tissues and relevant areas of the brain originate. Conflicts that have their attention either in the brain stem (which controls the body's tissues that flow from the endoderm) or the cerebellum (which controls the tissues that flow from the mesoderma) show the reproduction of cells in the active phase of conflict, and destruction resulting from tumors in the healing phase. Cerebrum directed conflicts (affecting the rest of the mesoderm-derived tissues and all ectoderms derived from them) show either a decrease in cells (necrosis, ulcers) or the function of disturbance or interruption in the active phase, and replenishment of damaged tissue in the healing phase (which can also be diagnosed as a tumor). 4th Law (Ontogenetic System of Microbes): Microbes do not cause diseases, but are used by the brain-coordinated organism to optimize the healing phase, provided that the necessary microbes are available when needed. After the court ordered traditional cancer treatment with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Pilhar made a full recovery and survived in 2010. Her parents received an eight-month suspended prison sentence in Austria. The Jewish conspiracy theory Hamer argued that his method was a German alternative to basic clinical medicine, which he said was part of a Jewish conspiracy to destroy non-Jews. Goetz, a German Holocaust denier active on the Renaissance stage of the German Reich, was repeatedly convicted by German courts of fraud, defamation, abuse of academic titles (the name Chief Rabbi is not protected by law in Germany), as well as falsification of documents, in particular.
