AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE LATERAL PERSPECTIVES IN CANCER: CAUSES AND CURE Compiled by Dr Kunda Silimkhan, MD 2016 AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE LATERAL PERSPECTIVES IN CANCER: CAUSES AND CURE Compiled by Dr Kunda Silimkhan, MD AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE Page 2 Self published ©author March 2016 Medical Disclaimer: This book is not a substitute for medical advice. Till the medical community rethinks and formulates better treatment for cancer, patients will have to accept the orthodox standard therapy from their doctors. Note: The rules/rulers do not permit the application of alternative therapies, at least not in the field of allopathy as we have seen in the case of Dr Hamer. This book is about averting cancer and preventing recurrence. People who are diagnosed with cancer will have to follow standard protocols. However, letting go off conflicts will help patients recover faster. And if and when their doctors have given up on them, they will not feel helpless or hopeless but find a purpose for living and a mission. I have quoted my own books only because most of my books are available free on the web. Having a voracious appetite for books helps me provide plenty of cross references. So, you may then select the books you want to study. Price: This book is to be circulated free in public interest. email : [email protected]. AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE Page 3 GRATITUDE I express my gratitude to all the people who have told their stories, the healers and the researchers in the field of cancer. I also wish to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work of all the cancer specialists who are doing their best to make life comfortable for patients. I may be critical of the system but hold no grudge against individuals AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE Page 4 PROLOGUE My serious inquiry into causes of cancer started in 2003. One fine day, while I was visiting the Department of Pathology at my Alma Mater to promote The Goa Lifestyle Project, a community based preventive program against heart disease, I met some old friends. The pathologists were discussing the increasing number of breast cancers especially among young doctors in the cities of Goa. There was also an increase in cancer incidence amongst rural women, who supposedly are at a lesser risk from pollution and fast life. One of them asked me, “Since you are into lifestyle diseases, tell us the reason for this sudden spurt.” My first reaction was, “You should be telling me.” Then immediately I corrected myself because I understood that they wanted me to look at the causes not as a physician but as a nutritionist since I have been through NIN. I thought it was a good area to investigate the matter and looked at the nutritional aspects of various groups. I found little difference between the nutritional profile of patients who got cancer and of those who did not. But one thing that kept coming up in many cases I interviewed was a strong emotional factor. I dare say 100%, if I haven’t unwittingly stretched time in a few patients. There is a time window from acute emotional stress and the development of cancer. Moreover, the stress from a superficial viewpoint appears to be relieved when the cancer is discovered. Patients appeared cheerful and often in control. They had resorted to some kind of yoga or prayer because of the stressful event and appear to have benefitted from the practice. So people around them could not understand why they should get the cancer when the stress had been tackled. AVERTING CANCER, PREVENTING RECURRENCE Page 5 I don’t have any definite answers nor do the cancer doctors and we will not have any for another fifty years if we continue to hunt in the wrong places. Therefore, I want to throw this topic open for discussion into the non- medical field for a more holistic and comprehensive probing. With my preliminary data in place and no funds except personal available to me, I debated whether I should research further into causes or do something meaningful that would benefit potential patients. I chose the latter. Now, instead of looking at what causes cancer I decided to look at what heals cancer even the so called terminal cancer. I assumed that all cases reported by doctors or non- doctors were genuine unless proved otherwise. So I would not miss any important aspect. In the following pages, I will quote the most talked about cases because they haven’t been refuted by experts in the said fields. When people realize that doctors all around the world are currently thinking out of the box on cancer, they will feel more empowered. This book is especially written for college going students who want to do original research in the field of cancer. And the people who fear cancer the most may be more likely to invite it into their lives. Of all the big diseases, cancer is the least dangerous. A heart attack can kill you on the spot while cancer gives you enough time to recover. Most people with cancer would heal if they had not introjected into themselves their doctor’s insecurity about the healing. Many of the devastating effects of cancer are not caused by the disease but by the treatment. The disfigurement, loss of wholeness, vomiting, hair loss is more painful rather than some questionable metastasis sitting somewhere in an internal organ. And to this is added the inhumane attitude
