We are pleased to introduce Jim Golden to the Diocesan team as our new Catholic Schools Superintendent. Jim replaces Dr. Dennis Dempsey who served as our Superintendent for the past seven years and is now enjoying retirement. Jim has been a professional educator for 35 years. During this time he served as a vocational education teacher, science teacher and special education teacher. He spent most of his career in Central Oregon, where he worked as a special education director and as a high school assistant principal in Sisters.
