Major Initiatives and Accomplishments: Founded the Marylhurst Chamber Choir, an auditioned, 32-voice ​

ensemble which won several prestigious prizes at international choral competitions. Twenty percent increase in music student enrollment between 2012-13 ​ and 2016-7 academic years. Founded the Marylhurst Choral Union, comprised of Marylhurst students and faculty as well as community members. Membership is up to sixty members after five years. Built the Marylhurst Chorale, the undergraduate student ensemble, from fourteen to twenty-seven music majors in two academic years. Later transformed into a Womens’ Chorale, succesfully hiring new faculty to direct it. Total number of singers participating in Marylhurst choral program grew over 500%, from eighteen to one hundred in five academic years. Organized, funded and implemented Marylhurst residencies with the composers Gwyneth Walker, Caroline Shaw and Morten Lauridsen, as well as residencies and collaborations with Roomful of Teeth, Portland Chamber , Cappella Romama and Cantus. Created, designed, implemented, recruited and taught Marylhurst ​ Summer Choir Camp for four summers. Over thirty students enrolled in first year, and forty in the second, third and fourth. Heavy involvement in local and regional high school and community ​ college choral communities, through guest clinics, festival judging, and guest conducting engagements (see below).

Director of Music, St. Philip Presbyterian, Houston, TX. Summer 2009-Fall 2011 Full time position. Directed a wide-ranging music program providing service music and community outreach for congregation of six hundred families. Conducted four choirs – Chancel Choir, Handbells, Youth and Children’s Choirs. Led and supervised six paid staff singers. Worked closely with pastoral staff to program and perform thematically meaningful music for two Sunday services per week. Manage $25k music budget.
