The present bibliography “Gender and Migration” is compiled on the occasion of NATIONAL COLLOQUIUM ON GENDER AND MIGRATION, organised by Centre for Women’s Development Studies , New Delhi on 6 th March, 2012. The bibliography focuses on the Migration in India- from rural to urban areas, from one state to another state i.e. regional migration. The international migration of Indians going to work in various parts of the world and also settling abroad is covered. Issues of seasonal migration, the impact on women and children, employment, wages, remittances, health, marriage, family, culture and so on are focused upon. The bibliography contains the references available in the CWDS library both published as well as unpublished in a variety of formats. The bibliography covers the material from 1979 to 2011 and contains over 530 entries. It is divided in two parts. Part I. contains over 422 entries from books, monographs, conference papers/proceedings and analytical articles. Part II. contains over 108 entries from the periodicals.
